How could I have forgotten that game? Shame on me.

2nd! I cant believe i've been missing out on some good Atlus games. Damn that reminds me. FE x SMT tooooo!

Atlus is a bit to blame as well though, hell the game is supposed to release this holiday season in Japan and all we've seen is one teaser trailer...no wonder people forget that game, they really need to blow out a lot of new information around it at TGS (maybe sprinkle a PS4 version in there for good measure ;)).

And yeah FE x SMT is the same, announced over a year ago and we know basically nothing.

Same :(

I heard there are frame rate issues, kinda like the Jak and Daxter collection, but to a less severe degree.

the original wording was...

So it’s with great pride I get to announce that Insomniac will continue our involvement with the Ratchet & Clank movie while developing a game that re-imagines the original Ratchet & Clank for PS4.

...whatever that means.

Could mean they are doing a complete remake similar to how Microsoft does their remakes, like Fable Anniversary and Halo Anniversary for example.  That would be great if they did that with R&C :)

Not "new" it's a remaster of the first one.

Hmm seems like a way to avoid the words, "remake", or "reboot". Would rather have a new game in the series, or a new trilogy. The R&C games are too good to not see deserved new games. :(

I dont know why they do such a poor job on them like that.  I wouldve easily bought Jak & Daxter if it didnt have issues like that.  These games seem to be perfect fits for a handheld in my opinion.  While we are at it, Into the Nexus should have been on the vita -_-  Oh well, im still hoping for some kind of patch to fix them :)    The thing is, idk if people are exaggerating with the frame rate issues so im still tempted to get them

Ratchet and Clank

It was announced at the same time as they announced the Ratchet movie. Most people just ignored it at E3.

Isn't it a remake of the original Ratchet and Clank rather than a new one though?

Correct. They also mentioned that it was going to have the production values you'd expect from a full PS4 first party title.

This is why I'm on the fence about both the Jak and Daxter and the R&C games, LOL!

What's bad for some probably isn't as bad for me.

Also I'm not sure if you're interested, but the Sly Collection I heard is a pretty good port (Sanzaru) ported it. I have it on Vita too, but haven't played it yet.

if it was a remake i feel like they'd use the word remake.   perhaps i'm just being hopeful but i get the feeling it is a movie tie-in game so it will have similarities with the original game but also have significant changes so that it follows whatever story/worlds they are doing for the movie.

..so like, half new.  or maybe same game assets but different world layouts.  i dunno,.. i just figure that if they avoided the terms remaster, remake, and reboot than the game probably doesn't quite fit those definitions.

Ratchet trilogy vita doesn't have frame rate issues, it simply runs at 30fps instead of 60fps which is what the games were originally so it feels a bit odd for people that played on ps2
