Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo Gamer's upset me so much, so I took matters into my own hands!

I was disappointed with Arkham Origins tbh, the GamePad features were nowhere near as good as those with Arkham City. Quite frustrating because the code to do it all would have been quite an easy shoe-in given the advantages that object oriented programming gives developers these days. Was a different developer though I think so I guess the first dev team weren't willing to play nice lol

I bought this even though I have already spent a ton of money on Wii U this month and last month. I coud not stand it being on the shelf any longer.

Sonic Team Racing and Planes are next!

Any extreme Nintendo purchases from you all ever?

I'm actually playing this game on my brand new gaming/graphics design desktop and I like it a lot! It's no Arkham City but also not the 77 on metacritic.

They were not different developers, actually the development team of Origins was the same one that did the Wii U port of City, I think the problem was lack of time on the publisher side, and the size of the proyect (working on 3 different versions at the same time, instead of just porting City). But you are right, gamepad features were lacking when compared to City.

Not a bad game at all, i really enjoyed the story. Ive beaten it and done most of the side missions, i still need to download the deathstroke levels. The only thing that stopped it being a classic were the bugs, and that can be said for all versions.

Well games cost money, something I don't got currently

Lucky you, I have the other problem... and is harder to solve. I have money but I don't have time to play my games.

OT: I give away free Wii U games on my twitter account. That has to count as an extreme Nintendo purchase.

I have the problem of there is so much I want to play I just get burned out when I hop on a new game. Although free games sounds nice lol.

My extreme purchase will be buy the wiiu for 500 dollars, since this is the price in my country.

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

Purchased Day 1.

You're mad at Nintendo gamers?

Yet, waited this long to pick this up?

Flagstaad gave an accurate description, I agree with what he said. I loved the story on Origins more than Arkham City but the gamepad features, frame rate and controls are much better in Arkham City. I still think Origins story is better though, really enjoyed it.

Good for you Spurge, but I won't buy 3rd party games that are sub-par just for the sake of supporting 3rd party publishers!

This.
