| ZyroXZ2 said: I don't see the Xbox One beating the hype sales of the PS4, much like the Wii enjoyed. However, among actual gamers who track games, there's no denying the Xbox One has a better holiday lineup. People will buy the PS4 because other people are buying the PS4, but the Xbox One has more exclusives lined up along with having every major multi-platform game as well. Essentially, going into the holidays, the Xbox One has a better lineup, but it won't matter because the PS4 will sell on the hype train like the Wii did (people buying it because it's the "fad" right now). And no, that's not me knocking the PS4, lol |
Why the unnecessary smearing? I see myself as an "actual gamer who tracks games" and still I bought a PS4 for the games that I know will be coming in the following years. Not because it is a fad.
I don't see any reason to ridicule people (comparing them to Wii fad buyers that are not actual gamers) because they see PS4 as the better value when priced cheaper or equal to XB1. PS4's stronger specs is one ting but has it crossed your mind that some people just believe that the future first party offerings will be better on PS4?
(list below is copied from another thread and it's not meant to degrade the value of XB1 or to start a list war, just to communicate why some might buy a PS4 for its inevitable great exclusives)
