best to let the numbers speak for themselves.

Wow so X1 has dropped below PS3, even before PS3 got below the $500 price tag.  Ouch

OMG!!! I did not noticed that and I bet a lot of people did not either.  So the x1 got desperate way before by sacrificing kinect and it did not do any good as sales are the same as before. The first  pricecut for sony if I remember right increased the baseline a decent bit.

So to all the people saying that the ps3 also started bad and the x1 can still pull ahead in the future, remember that the ps3 did a hell of a lot better than the x1 at the start even with $600 pricetag, the x1 only had a good launch. Also the first bandage sony applied worked perfectly while we are on the third x1 attempt and its still doing awfull.

It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.

Considering the Xbox One is currently only for sale in 13 regions compared to the competition's 70 regions I would be more than shocked if the numbers were otherwise, I would apply this to the other consoles if their regional advantage was reversed to.

Let's wait until the end of September before we start counting the numbers when the Xbox One will at least be for sale in 41 regions, still 29 regions less than the other consoles but a whole lot more than it's in now.

As for comparing Xbox 360 sales for the same time period the same logic above applys exactly the same there to.

So let's see from the beginning of October how the sales pan out when it's on a more level playing field.....

Give me the net worth of all people in Texas, New York, California, Washington state. You take the rest of the the net worth for the USA. You should be way more happy cause you have so many more states!

This has been said for the quadrillionth time, but it will never be right no matter how many times people chant this narrative.

And technically, the X1 is already on sale those other countries via imports/grey market.... and no one is buying them. In addition, the PS4 will be in those markets for almost a full year by the time the X1 will be released. The PS4 has already established a strong reputation and mindshare in those countries, and the X1 has a really steep hill to climb (like nearly perpendicular steep).

LOL not this narrative again, you don;t have a clue....l The PS4 is soundly beating x1 in territries both are in.....

Thoose small territitries only made up 5-10% of 360 sales, it will be worse for x1, these are small and sony dominated. You can also get an x1 there easily already.

The x1 is already in the largest territories it gets 90% of sales from, so where the heck are these territores going to "Even the playing field"? They might add 1-2 K a week max, still will get doubled WW by ps4.

It's doing well cause it's holding its #3 place from last gen
It's above the Ouya right?

Its doing well because it hasn't lost money like PS3 or been pushed aside like Vita.

MS made some mistakes this gen as their competition has in the past. They're are doing pretty well considering.

LMAo dilusion.

Agree. The 360 comparison isn't fair. 360 gained a lot of PS2 owners, that is a simple fact. In the end, things balanced out a bit, pretty much everyone was a multi platform owner (360 and PS3) last gen.

LMAO dilusional..xbox doesn't have the rets of the world to catch up not the playstation brand power to catch up..Launch alligned ps3 was outselling 360 day. 1..... X1 will nevr catch up. it needs to outsell ps4 to do that and it's not ever going to and not even close.

You expect sales to jump significantly after they launch in those other countries? I'm hoping for a 10% increase in weekly sales but I'm doubtful of even that happening.

It's true that releasing the Xbox One in Japan and China will increase the Germany sales

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

But.... but... the graph. Maybe you just don't understand that higher up lines means more?

I deliberately read all graphs upside down to support arguments that I want to make about things that hold no water.
