And hey,the official announced Forza 5 will be RMB249,where is your 339 from?
http://livesino.net/archives/7293.live

From paipai.com, where the rest of the games are openly available, and have been from launch.
Theres also TaoBao, which is around the same / slightly more expensive depending on which vendor you use.

249 is still $40, and that's for a year old game, so you actually hold on to the belief that the rest of the titles being released there will fit within that $16-$40 bracket previously touted?

There's already a thriving market for games, they're not going to slit their own throats by undercutting the imports with localized versions, they're just going to do what they've always done and bump up the prices of the local versions to match, regardless of whatever the manufacturer recommends.

Why not?and as long as Hong Kong still exist, local store can't be sold ch version games more than RMB300

Oh btw welcome guys come to HK live store buy games since Sept 23,because most HK version games will comes with english language, unless it's develop by Japanese

Maybe you don't know the HK version of most Xbox one retail games official price will be between HKD349-419(Forza 5 and DR3 will be 349 btw),so RMB249(or cheaper) for games like Forza 5 is 100% sure thing.

Dude.

Meanwhile, in reality they are priced at:

Battlefield 4 - 329.99 yuan (53usd)
Ryse -
345.00 yuan (56 usd)
Fighters within - 345.00 yuan (56 usd)
Just Dance 2014 - 380.00 yuan (61 usd)
Forza 5 - 339.00 yuan
(55 usd)
Assassins creed black flag - 339.99 yuan
(55 usd)

Range - $53-$61

Versus your HKD349-419, which is:

Range - $45 - 54, yet you know as well as I do that the range in prices depends entirely on where you buy, as game that costs 250HKD in mongkok could be all the way ip to 450 in stores like HMV, but you're litterally arguing over a $5 difference in average price by citing official pricing for a launch title that's a year old, like it makes a monumental difference.

The fact that they neglected to give official pricing on the rest of the games should drive that home.

Care to point to where the 300 figures from?, certainly isn't a retail rule for games, as only last week I saw games averaging 399 in stores in HK.
And it totally contradicts your own post here:

Which is 278.39 to 334.23 RMB.

So which one is it?, stores can't sell games more than RMB300 or stores can?

Yes, as I have clearly said, theyre the grey imports, and most stores in mainland china that sell them over the counter have shitty hand made signs up offering the chinese versions for preorder, at the same price.

But hey, I'll be in your neck of the woods again in september, perhaps you should leave the relative comfort of hong kong and do some traveling to mainland china with me to see for yourself? i'll even give you the crappy green xbox one controller stands they were giving out this year at ChinaJoy.

Lies.

There is no store can pre-order any Xbox One ch games RIGHT NOW,unless it's unscrupulous store

You miss the point entirely, i listed current availability prices, i.e. grey imports.

if they drop the price of Forza 5 for the launch then it's simply a drop in the price for the game, and no different from basically giving it away in the US shortly after launch, it does not mean, for a second, that ALL games are going to be priced at that.

And frankly, if $40 usd is the best they can come up with for a launch price for a year old game, that now has the "bonus" of being region locked (thus, not working on the hundreds of thousands of consoles already sold in hk/china), then it really doesn't stay a lot about future game prices.

And you're still skirting around the issue of saying games wont be more than 300RMB, then contradicting your own claim with posts to native release prices that are higher than 300RMB.
