Forums - Gaming Discussion - Fire Emblem Mafia - Game Thread - Concluded

No worries. Long posts signify you're putting in a lot of effort which is a town tell. Specifically when I already told you once that theyre difficult to break up.
flipsu was a misspell. Its means to say flips. Flips are what happens when someone dies . In the game werewolf (the party version) players have cards. When they die, they "flip" their card for everyone to see.
once you start seeing some of those flips, your perspective will change. Especially when theyre people you suspect or defend.thats when you start seeing the relationships. Who is why as much questioning needs to happen today so that the lynch flip and the might kill flip can help us start narrowing down the pool of suspects.

As it stands, prof will be the one lynched tonight, when in my opinion there are people WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more suspicious, and who I would rather see lynched instead. To put my money where my mouth is, *snip*

Sparks, I really don't understand your reasoning on outlaw here.

1) The link you referred to has outlaw simply stating that he doesn't know the answer to your question, I'm not sure what's so scummy about that.

2) I also don't understand how you get that no mafia daytalk is so much of a given to him from that related post? Also, you replied to his defense by saying that the rules never stated either, but outlaw never took position and said he considered that he was not sure if he understood the rules right.

1. The post from the link was only there to provide context for the paragraph that followed.

2. He knew about daytalk, and said he got it from the rules, even though it was not stated in the rules.

Regarding my reasoning: Take two separate races, one grows hair on their head, and the other doesn't. I'm not wearing a hat on my head. I ask the bald people what's on my head, they go "hair, duh". Ask the other group, they go "I'm not sure, it'd be impossible to tell without a microscope". They give different answers based on assumptions (what things that are a given).

fyi, I tried rephrasing the question @outlaw numerous times cuz I really wanted an answer.

I also thought Nickles had the same problem earlier as well, but I checked again and it was cool. See last quote from this post of mine.

Besides all that, a big part of my vote for outlaw was just cuz I didn't wanna see prof go so soon.

So, a few thoughts:

Hylian is displaying way too much tunnel vision for my liking. I'm not sure if it's because he's too new, because that's the kind of player he is, if he's simply taking things too personally, or what. Not exactly a brilliant observation I know, but when I see an elephant in the living room I occasionally say something like "hey there's an elephant in the living room."

Wright and WhiteEagle really annoy me, and for largely the same reason. I acknowledge my personal playstyle plays a big part in my frustration, but if a person doesn't post semi-seriously once in a blue moon I get little meat to chew on, which makes it both hard for me to judge their alignment and to focus on other players.

Conegamer's not guaranteed to be town, but his post either marks him as being the most newbie of newbie players or amongst the most audacious of players. Either way, I'm not exactly thrilled with what happened. That said, khan's vote reeks of inexperience: I'm just not sure of which side. It's possible he missed the obvious earlier - as I confessed earlier, I'm often skimming myself, so no stones here  -

I don't like RCT's play much at all so far. The excuse that Day One is "painful" to get through rings of something cooked up after the fact: this has been far and away the most active Day One I've ever seen, as well as one of the more interesting ones, and it's been one of the most active Days overall in any game I can remember. If you don't like what's happened today, you probably don't like playing Mafia at all. Wanting simply to kill someone, anyone, strikes me as being as anti-town as one can get, especially when his open concern is simply not looking untrustworthy. Combined with his earlier statements, I'm going to go against my usual No-Lynch preference and

Vote: RCTJunkie

Also, dammit Ike! Stuff happens, I know, but players subbing out a week after we start makes me sad.

Shit just realized that unborn outlaw makes outlaw and cone tied. Sorry but cone isnt getting lynched. If there's a chance we can get khan instead im all for it.
unvote
vote outlaw

Pre post edit: unborn is supposed to read unvoting

Pre post edit? What the hell is the point of a pre post edit? If it's not posted yet, just change it. I don't really care since it's just over a typo, but I do think you edited your post here. No one does "pre-post edits" because that's retarded.

Would 2 people be eliminated if my unvote brought it closer to a tie?

Also, REALLY small complaint, butHylianSwordsman, could you make sure it's RCT instead of RTC. I know it's a common mix-up and not a big deal, but just for future reference. :)

A tie is a no-lynch, it's in the first post.

And sorry! I didn't notice! It stands for Roller Coaster Tycoon, right? I love that game! I'll try to watch that I don't make that typo again.

I've said it several times now, no one is listening. I suspect prof, and as I've gone on I only suspect him more. Sure, maybe I focused on him really hard, but I thought that was a good idea, and to be fair, I don't have much of a choice when we're in the middle of an argument, I've little time for anything else. I've not stopped considering other people. In fact, I've also said that one of the reasons I suspect prof is because I believe I see coordinated activity. I have been pursuing others, particularly Sparks, who still hasn't responded.

Wow get off my ass hylian.
im on my phone and I cant select where I want to input the cursor so sometimes I write a post and something is auto corrected but I dont want to delete the whole thing because I only have a couple moments before managers troll around.

@padib
remember when you said "thunk about how you post and how it serves town"? Well explaining about cone doesn't serve town. Therefore im not going to say it.

I'd like to hear more from you Khan about me. More intrigued than anything else

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

See this? This is always your response. I don't think you're mafia at this point, indeed my suspicion is very low, because I thought you made your real identity pretty obvious, but then you could be trying to trick us, and the fact remains that every time anyone looks at you funny your response can be summed up as "I'm genuinely curious why anyone would suspect me." Maybe try a different approach. Khan claims he missed profs assessment of you, but I saw it and agreed with it. Perhaps prof could bring that assessment up again for Khan's sake?
