In case you didn't know, movies and music and tv shows get a buttload of revenue from many different sources

Games don't. direct sales and rentals are the only ones. Which is why they are more expensive than the above, both in purchases and in rentals

which is why we are discussing streaming costs, in case you didn't notice

Because you brought Netflix into the mix, which is irrelevant and not comparable.

netflix has unlimited streaming offered at 8 $ a month since 2011

Netflix rents games?

streaming costs are independent of the content, in case you didn't know

no they are not. streaming interactiv content is more demanding...

you cannot stream "interactive content", the server only sends "fix" data

I'm saying prices can't be compared

My pricing-

2 hours: $.99
4 hours: $1.99
24 hours: $2.99
1 week: $3.99
2 weeks: $5.99
1 month: $9.99

Subscription:
Annual sub: $79.99
Monthly sub: $14.99

This one is actually not that bad. The longer you decide to rent the cheaper it is, the same goes for the sub. But I'm not sure if third parties would agree.

but the server takes input. so its not the same, they need much stronger server to make games playable. no body cares if it takes 3-400ms to puase if i hit the pause button. if it takes 400ms for jumping if i push the jump button its just broken.

and netflix doesnt stream, its the same way youtube does it, that not the kind of streaming u need for a game streaming.

I'm saying prices can't be compared

if it's for the purpose of illustrating how low streaming costs are, why not ?
