It looks like they're intentionally being bad at the game. And if they're not, then they don't know the controls, which renders their opinion useless. Their problems stem from not rolling into a ball.

True, but I have met too many people who claim to be that "die hard" crowd and will gush over any Sonic game and say its the greatest series of all time still. I have friends who think Sonic Lost World is 10x better than Super Mario 3D World, and that they think Sonic 06 was better than Galaxy. Those were the kind of "fans" I was getting at.

I am not a fan of many Sonic games but I do know there are plenty of games more worthy of being called overrated.
