Once upon a time three little boys sat playing games with smiles on their faces, drinking Soda and eating Candy, playing one life each on Mario with smiles on their faces.

They grew up a little and the TV got bigger. Playing split screen and hoping they wouldn't be spotted as they snuck up to the guy a tiny square away. The beers were flowing and the candy had become Pizza. Still the smiles were on their faces.

As they got older they could play from their own homes and have fun over mic's.

Then one day they each got a letter. One recruited by Nintendo, one by Sony and one by Microsoft. They attended a secret terror camp in sillicon valley. The beer and Pizza had become guns and grenades. The smiles had become scowls and the three friends had become hated enemies.

Man what happened to gaming?

BTW most funny aspect of this thread is Xbox One inherently lacks "true exclusives". Games like quantum break and 99% indie stuff are bound to come in PC. And some people were using "only on xbox" as their sig in titanfall. Lol. We all know that microsoft dont have any good AAA studios expect 343 and turn 10 (many say 343 destroyed halo with halo 4). So I am enjoying it very much. Its like an novice racer is bragging his driving skills to the likes to michael schumacher.

It's like some people don't pay attention. All console manufacturers have generally been pretty slow out of the gate in terms of variety of quality exclusives available at launch for several generations. Sony is no exception to that rule.

However, after three generations of Sony consoles one constant has been a steady, seemingly never ending amount of quality, unique, varied exclusives (First or Third Party) for their console after about 1.5 - 2 years into the consoles life cycle lasting all the way until their next console is released.

Microsoft on the other hand, has a very bad track record for releasing minimal quality exclusives, with limited variety (Numerous sequels) and they stop supporting their console generally well before their next console releases. Additionally, Microsoft isn't really any better than Sony at providing quality exclusives around the launch time frame.

TLDR; Sony will (like always) have the most exclusive games, content from a wide array of locations and absolutely will keep picking up pace from where they are today. The only chance Microsoft has for surpassing Sony this generation is Sony the company going bankrupt, it's really that simple.
