Wow! That seahawks game sucked at first, but it had a great ending!! It is ok Rol, you can be a seahawks fan now!

Didn't see much of the NFC title game since when I first tuned in Green Bay was up 16 nothing in the second half so I though they had it won I did tune back in in the final minutes of the 4th quarter and saw Green Bay tie it up and saw them loose in overtime. Well it kinda sucks that they lost but I almost picked it spot on since I had Seattle winning by 7. As for the AFC title game I think that the score by New England just now pretty much put the game away they probably going to win by more points then I thought.

Ahahaha been a while since I have seen a team choke away a lead in the playoffs like that. Actually I guess the Colts pulled off an almost as great comeback last season.

Packers should have been out versus Dallas anyway. Just the NFL universe righting itself.

I see the title got changed, but to be perfectly honest, CHI-GB rivalry aside, I think the Cowboys were absolutely robbed by those crooked ass refs, so IMO the cheeseheads didn't deserve to be in the NFCCG

Its clear Dez made the catch, made football moves and the ONLY REASON Dez lunged forward for the endzone is because he knew the NFL rule is ground can't cause a fumble, b/c he is a runner at that point. Had Dez known the refs would screw the Cowboys in Lameblow stadium, he would have simply tucked the ball to really secure the completion, instead of lunging.

I'm detecting a high degree of bitterness here.

Also, I think it's a bit harsh to say that GB definitively would not have been in the conference championship were it not for the flag. If memory serves, the Packers would've had a minute thirty or so to drive after the XP was kicked, and given how great a job Dallas did at stopping the Packers' offense when they needed the ball back, I'm not so sure they could've stopped GB from at least getting into FG range to win the game.

Well good thing that New England doesn't like to run up the score or this game could get pretty ugly. But the final total numbers will be just as lopsided as the regular season match up.

Well, now Luck's going to be throwing...allot, so I expect them to actually rack up some decent numbers.

Glad we get a Seahawks-Patriots Super Bowl. That's the matchup I wanted to see all season, and I think it'll be a great game

Zorro's picks:

Seattle by 7
New England by 1

Rol's picks:

SEA by 21, NE by 10.

Actually the bitterness is all in the thread title.  A more apropo, and classy title would be "my team, the Packers, just committed the biggest choke job in NFCCG history".  But this person is known for dishing it and not being able to take it.  Anyway...

Never said GB would not have won vs Dallas, I said GB didn't deserve to be in the NFCGG. I don't care about "what could have happened" or how much time was left for Erin.    I'm upset the refs ruined that game, and took away what actually happened, when Dallas should have been rewarded for that great effort.  I believe Dez Bryant is a horrible human being, so it pains me to defend him, but he and the 'Boys got robbed.  I'd have tipped my cap to the Packers had they come back after that TD, but again, the refs ruined the  game so we never got to see that proper scenario.

Other than that, just poking some fun at our hated rivals... :)
