There had been rumors of it actually being WiiU exclusive!
So...

but it's probably been delayed for multiplatform release.

Well if you would have read the OP then you could have seen the part with the thing quoted down there.
It needs the power of the PS4 and One to make their vision come true.
So there is nothing about the need of the Power of the WiiU and anything about the possiblity that it is even capable of doing it if you look further into that sentence.
You need the power of the PS4 and One.

Well maybe PC will get 1 year later a Port from Ubisoft Israel or so
PC sure has the power and is probably now already stronger than the NextGen Console but what does it help if you want to make money with your FULL PRICE game?
They want to sell their game to people that buy them at release...and i mean more than 100 people.More like a few million which is totally possible for Beyond Good and Evil over time with enough marketing.
On PC it will start to sell at 5$ in a steam sale...Wuhu the dream of every publisher after 20 Million $ of development costs.
Look at FarCry 4 and AC Unity...2nd Hand Devs from Ubisoft Kiev are making the PC Version cause it isn't worth the time, money and effort of the MainTeam which is working on the versions that sell and run optimized and will get bought at full price from the majority of people.
This is the only Reason btw we need new Graphic Cards and other things for a lot of money.
Cause 2nd Hand Devs are doing those PC Ports and it is visible in the poor optimation. You need far more power than you would actually need if they could port it properly. You will need a 880GTX for a bad ported game while you would maybe need a 660 if competent people would work on it.But competent people cost more money and those work on the console versions that BRING money.
Thats the destiny of PC Gaming
Bad ports - Steam full of Early Access Games that will never get finished and here and there some Blizzard Games that are merely a shadow of their former quality.
But hey i can buy a new overclocked 1000$ GraphicsCard to get this poor optimized games running!
