Huh, so red heads won.

What cool characters have there been in anime that sport red hair? The only one I can think of is Shana from Shakugan no Shana, and she was pretty cool...

Magi has some pretty cool red-heads, most notably the main female. She was a former slave that gets freed by the two MCs, and becomes one of their strongest allies. I was kinda disappointed when she began to lose screen-time, but she was definitely a joy to watch both alone, and interacting with the other main characters.

Also, she totally wore the pants in this relationship.

The MC in Shokugeki no Souma (see my signature) is pretty fun to watch, even if he's kind of a Gary Stu. Erza in Fairy Tail is probably a popular one, though I have the same problem with her.

Good season list though! I might end up giving up Sangatsu a 10 if it keeps up this momentum.

Uh, thanks...!

Also, I forgot about that girl from Magi, though I've never read nor watched that series...

Net-juu ep 7 was really good. I like that things are getting more complicated. Koiwai-san is like a bull in a china shop and it's great. I love Morimori-chan's reactions so much.

Net-juu no Susume...well it makes sense why things why characters were finding out things so fast. Time to add a new layer of misunderstandings! I suppose Sakura-chan will make another avatar...otherwise Morimori is going to figure it out already. Though wait...now I guess...he doesn't think she's her anymore...so maybe the shoe is on the other foot? *head sizzles*

Should be interesting. Kowai-san is basically me whenever I try to get into an MMO. For better or worse (I guess just worse).

Outside of regular seasonal stuff, I've been watching a few shows in my finished anime backlog. This last week I finished both Kimi no Na wa and Pet Girl of Sakurasou.

I went into Kimi no Na wa blind, but heard the incredible hype around it. First 40 minutes or so were good...but didn't really get why people raved about it so much, seemed like a cute body swap story around characters in different towns. Well...then I got to the Itoumori reveal..and wow...everything after that was like a punch to the gut. I was amazed at how well everything linked together, and every little tangent came back in some way before the end. Absolutely amazing movie, and I can recommend it anyone, regardless of how much anime they watch.

Pet Girl was delightful! It's a few years old, but for anyone that's not familiar with it, it basically follows an art student asked to look after a world-renowned artistic savant who is basically helpless on her own, and follows their character growth. Overall, it was a great comedy, and I loved the tsukomme/boke dynamic of the main duo. The eventual drama was well done I thought, though a bit exaggerated at times, but all the characters were easy to connect with, and made the story that much more relatable. The only issues I had was the love triangle that wasn't really a love triangle...but it's still preferable to a harem set-up I guess. Still annoying how it was basically open in the end even after Nanami rejects herself and Sorata confesses to Mashiro.

While I liked the main duo/pairing a lot, my favorite pairing was actually a side ship in this one. I loved how these two were exact polar opposites, and yet understood each other on a deeper level than anyone else.

As said earlier I was watching Restaurant to another world. And I finished it, very good anime to eat with lol.

I started Fate apocrypha. A pretty anime, slow start though.

I also want to watch Saiyuki or Saiyuki reload series. It seems kind of complicated, anyone have experience with the series and recommendations about it?

Started watching High School Fleet and I really liked the first three episodes, but episode four took a bit of a weird turn.

I am hoping that this doesn't become the central plot point (though it seems like it will), but why do we need to introduce mind control hamsters? Couldn't this just be a show about cute girls doing cool warship stuff, like Girls und Panzer in boats? I don't need this weird stuff.

2) It's funny how bad the adaptation is.

I'm not familiar with King's Game, though it sounds annoying how they chose to adapt it. I watched another anime like that, and I remember hating how 1-dimensional they made the characters I loved from the manga. Still...if you like the IP, you'll tend to want to keep up with it I guess.

I enjoyed that one...and pretty sure I had the same thought process. :P Every Monday with dinner...

I'd be cool with a second season of that, though I worry the premise might wear thin after a while. Surprised it didn't after 12 episodes.

Yeah, the latest Net-Juu had a lot crammed into it, both comically and storywise. Seeing as the anime is quite short, they had to drop story bits like how Mori and Sakura-chan knew each other before through the other MMO they kept alluding to in previous episodes, so it felt fairly obvious already, and now he's gonna test that idea out with Mori since her new avatar looks like the one from before and his is like his old one.... That was a mouthful. As for the comical stuff, it was interesting and funny to see Sakura-chan show off all his different outfits for his Lily character because I feel that's a fairly common thing with games and avatars, collecting all the cute outfit for the girl characters. I know I kinda do that with Miitomo, haha xD Also, this anime makes it feel more-so okay to play as whatever character you feel in a game, since even Koiwai went with a ridiculous muscly, busty, blonde girl character and he has no shame with it. xD

Didn't get any answers for the Saiyuki stuff, so it must not be that good eh lol. Also a lot of episodes, so understandable that people didn't watch them all.

Instead I started and finished Classroom of the Elite. I liked it quite a bit, the main character is one of my favorites in recent times. Only thing is the 2nd half had quite a bit of a dip imo, but the final episode was great. Some things just seemed implausible and amateur after midway just to create unnecessary drama.

Houseki no Kuni still is absolutely amazing. It's on the best way to get a 10/10. Also a strong candidate for me to read the Manga after the show is finished.
Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou is missing something but it's easily a 9 for me. I don't think I will ever read the manga because I feel the anime has a special atmosphere to it that the Manga cannot possibly capture.

And now we add Shokugeki and Yuuki Yuuna into the mix and suddely we have one of the if not the best season of all time.
