Index was okay, nothing great. I can't even remember what the MC was like. Railgun was kind of pointless junk with a few good episodes.

Worse, Railgun was preachy and hypocritical in a very stupid "shounen view of the world" way. I remember the MC preaching about how powers don't matter ... before using her massive difference in power to win. Absolutely idiotic.

I watched a tiny bit of index and none of railgun. Alot of anime from funimation keeps getting added to crunchyroll so that's been keeping me distracted. I might look up what episodes are filler and avoid those.

Made In Abyss ep 13 - Goddamn, that was amazing.

railgun filler isn't bad so I don't exactly think it should be avoided.

I enjoyed Index quite a bit, but I got burnt out before Railgun 2 came out so I haven't watched it entirely yet. Index 3 is good news to me.

Nice! What'd you think of Bebop?

Nanatsu no Taizai season 1 was..okay. I read the manga and want to pull my hair out sometimes, but I could probably recommend season 1 at least. Just hope you don't mind overpowered shotas. The rest of the cast is pretty great. Mostly.

Anyways, I'll update the OP this weekend, and post my end of season thoughts. I finished Gamers! and Tsurezure Children yesterday, and enjoyed both overall. I'll save my thoughts for later...but god damn that ending card for Gamers. *sweats profusely*

The Made In Abyss Episode 13 discussion on r/anime has over 1300 comments and growing.  Can't say I'm surprised in the slightest, as it has to be one of the best anime episodes I've seen in my life.  Kinema Citrus completely nailed it.  

And Nanachi is the best.  Smart, clever, resourceful, determined, and she poured her heart into caring for her friend despite all the terrible things she has seen and been through.  An absolutely fantastic character that is credited for saving the manga because of her popularity.
