God, Trigger is so amazing. 5 bucks to anyone who gets the reference.

Been a fair bit unlucky with the shows that I decide to watch. Normally I can enjoy anything, as often the low ratings mean very little to me.

So I watched the anime Fuuka. And to be perfectly honest the poster led me to believe in some yuri type, but instead it was a guy and best girl type. But whatever, I started the anime and the music focus intrigued me instead. I read up a little on the manga and this anime decides to take an interesting route. Long story short I disliked the route and the anime as a whole, one of the worst anime lately.

Still have a bunch of anime on my list, and a few of them are surefire hits so it doesn't bother me too much, especially only being 12 episodes.

This month is a tragedy. So many fun shows but I'm further behind everything than I ever was. I'm over 100 eps behind everything. I'm gonna drop Eromanga sensei for that.

Forgot about this with everything going on. Sorry Versy!

All Might is both the best male...and best character.

A bit unfair though...since he's also the best girl in the series.

Well. It's done. I finally finished Sousei no Onmyouji. A very promising anime that got better and better and then got worse and worse and ended in shounen hell. It could've been an 8, now it's a 6.

Watched B Gata H Kei. Name is ridiculous, plotline is ridiculous, and only 12 episodes is ridiculous.

However it was still hilarious and the last episode was very surprising, considering the rest of the anime. Overall a good pick compared to my last few.

So you're saying where I gave up around 35 episodes in was probably good enough for this one. Guess I'll just bump that off the unofficial backlog.

Yes, from ep 35 it's only going downhill. The animation quality reaches gutter level, the plot gets just plain stupid with most things just happening out of nowhere and they go so deep into shounen tropes that they can't get out anymore. 50 episodes well wasted.

Attack on Titan S3 coming in 2018: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2017-06-17/attack-on-titan-anime-season-3-to-air-in-2018/.117628

Otherwise this season was pretty interesting. I watched a video that surmised why season two was actually more enjoyable than season one, and I have to agree. Character development was more substantial, action was more meaningful (and one fight in particular was actually well choreographed as a whole), Eren crying and being angry took up significantly less screen time, and revelations, some apparently more substantial than was expected this early, were made that helped develop the greater world.

Not perfect. Still overly melodramatic in places, Levi had next to zero screen time, and revealing Ymir's past was a one way trip to more plot reveals than we got in the entire first or the rest of the second season. It was solid though, and I guess they paced it well enough that we'll be able to jump right into the next season (hopefully).

That's great for AOT fans, I'm still waiting for Log Horizon season 3 and news on the follow up to D.Gray-Man Hallow :( it only took 8yrs for it to release after D.Gray-Man I really don't want to wait another 8years.

No, we're still waiting on a proper Log Horizon season 2 that actually follows up on all of the plotlines left open at the end of the first season.
