I selected "other" in the poll because I don't know if I have a favorite....I love all genres if they are done well enough. As I've said a bunch of times already, Baccano! is my favorite anime, but part of what makes it my favorite is the fact that it incorporates so many different elements :D

I think Baccano was a modern masterpiece in anime just because it did all of the characters and arcs so well.

By the way, you should write a reccomendation for it, and I'll post it in the recommendation section!

Oooh, I may do that tomorow :D

Also, have you by any chance read any of the LNs? If you like the show, they come highly recommended, as they add so much more to the story before, during and after the events that the anime centered around. The first two arcs are well covered by the anime (although they should still be read, because they are amazing), but the third arc was drastically cut for the anime and it is quite wonderful in its own right... Theres also the "The Slash" arc which I would kill to see animated and so much more (I'm currently waiting on the translation of the 10th book, but I may skip ahead to a different arc because it may take a while)

No, sadly, not yet. I probably should though, since there's no chance of any OVAs being released at this point

Changed.

Still don't like some of those but not gaonna make a big fuzz about it.

I choose Comedy.

I'm currently using my aditional time this season to rewatch Lucky Star. I watched it years ago and it was pretty much my first anime I've watched of this kind.  I feel like my taste has shifted in these years towards this genre and that I unfairly gave it an 8/10 back then.

If it's better then it will get an 8.5 which in my ranking is a huge step up from an 8.

Lucky Star is one hell of a weird anime. :P If you look at it the wrong way it's so boring, but if you look at it the right way it's quite good and entertaining

New character of the week!

Character of the week!

Saki Miyanaga

Anime: Saki (Sports)

Bio: Saki Miyanaga is a first-year student and is the titular character of the story. When originally discovered by Kiyosumi's club, she was notorious for her ability to finish plus/minus 0, essentially finishing with the same score she started with (+/- 400 points). This came out of playing with her family when she was younger, " I would not get any candy if I lose, but they will get angry if I win to many " as stated by Saki. Eventually, she joins the club so that she can reach the Inter-highs and see her sister, Teru Miyanaga, who by this time has become a top-ranked professional mahjong player.
(wikipedia)

Fun Fact: Her presence when performing her ability can either take the form of white provincial flowers appearing behind her in the background with several petals swirling around (this is in reference to her name which literally translated means "a flower blooms on a ridge"), or her left eye flashing with yellow or red light in a lightning formation or forming flame-like arrays and her playing hand engulfed in yellow flames or static.
