LOL, the poll options are great. Good job Farsala.

Even as a joke though, I'd have to say Psycho Pass. The first season was so interesting, filled with great characters, mystery, philosophical commentary, and ends on such a great note. Akane's dilemma during the final arc, and her conversation with Kogami when they're going after Makishima, really makes you question whether or not the Psycho Pass system is justified in their society. It also has one of the greatest anime villains I've ever seen. Basically a fusion of Professor Moriarty and The Joker, he was so twisted and yet so interesting at the same time, and I couldn't get enough of him.

Then we have 2nd Season: LOL Evil Brains Edition. The tension was wasted with constant death scenes, the animation was  lousy half the time, and the villain's backstory didn't even make sense. Heck, the whole season just seemed to introduce chaos and hope people would it find it interesting, when in reality it just made the whole system their society was based on seem really stupid and easy to screw with. It went from a complex, all-encompassing system engrained in everyone's daily life into basically just an evil brain-trust that everyone and their mother can cheat. And don't get me started on the mama's boy.

I still need to see the movie...though 2nd season was so dissapointing, I basically lost interest in the series. Maybe I'll watch season 1 again to revive my interest.

Darker than Black: Season 2 was also disapointing in comparison to the first, but had a lot more redeeming qualities than Psycho Pass' second season.

SAO 2 was not bad.... <-- this one was adapted better than the first SAO where they cleverly left out mr Kirito's trauma which made the whole trauma he had in SAO 2 look meh. The Mother's rosario arc focuses on someone not named kirito and it showed a different aspect of it. I don't see what's so bad about 2. I enjoyed GGO more than both parts of SAO 1.
LH 2 was not bad... <-- This one is more about politics than anything else, if you expected fast pace look at the show mentioned above and not at immediate effect after a decision has been made.

Couldn't care less about the others in the poll tho

They might as well call Amanchu Aria because that's what it is. Same music, basically same characters, same cat, same school uniforms, same water.

Speaking of Aria, I didn't realize that the people at MAL actually have taste. Aria the Origination is still within the top 50 with 8.66 rating. Then again, the rest in this list is pretty much cringe.

Also speaking of unbderrated. I just got really into the second OP of Asterisk War. This is why I love music.

Great song, how's the show? Haven't seen it.

I agree, the 2nd season is for me better than the first one. The first arc of the first season is cool but not developed enough (the ascension and the romance parts feel both rushed), and the second arc is between the average and the bad. GGO is the best part of SAO (good fights, a better story, a cool female character this time), and even if I didn't like the Rosario Arc at first it's well told, emotional, and a nice change of pace.

The anime is alright. If you like futuristic school action and tournaments it's above average. Visuals are great. The OP is a good indication of it.

It's really underrated because even though it clearly is your typical harem visual novel it doesn't dwell on it. There is too much going on for the female characters to constantly fawn over the male MC. It actually packs a good amount of serious story.

BTW if you like the music you might want to follow the singer. She's called Shiena Nishizawa and is only 19 years old. She plays guitar and is an awesome live performer.

So far her only singles are  the OPs for Asterisk and the ED of Kantai Collection. But if you listen to it you will see she has some serious musical talent and I can't wait to hear more from her.

Might give it a shot, I like harem animes and if this one actually has a decent plot, then that alone is pretty impressive.

As for Shiena, honestly can't believe she's just 19 years old! The songs are amazing and I definetly do want to hear more of her, so I hope that she gets the recognition she deserves and get more opportunities to show her talent as well.

And now best girl Reimi and David Bowie have shown up on Jojo Part 4, let the "chase" commence.

Rewrite was pretty sad this week, definitely a Key work :'(
Also, caught up on Re:Zero, now all I have left to catch up on now is Planeterian.

Hi ! I'm coming back to watching animes now Netflix is country locked.

So I'm completely lost, I haven't watched much since 2012 ish.
My favourites animes are Evangelion, Gundam Seed, Monster, Darker than Black, Hellsing, Claymore, Macross Zero & Frontier, Gundam Seed, Code Geass, Jojos... I binge watched Narutos to death btw ^^
Lately, I've been watching Berserk OAVs, Sidonia no Kishi (I'm a Tsutomu Nihei fan since 1998), obviously One Punch Man, the New Berserk and my discovery of the week : Thunderbolt Fantasy.

My tastes are clearly action oriented animes. What late seasons animes, or anime of the moment could you guys recommend me ?
