Wait, Pokémon Advance is a different series than Battle Advanced right ? because Battle Advanced was the shit, heck, the Italian opening is considered as one of the best modern openings made for an Anime/Cartoon (in Italy of course)

Pokemon Advanced Battle was the 3rd season of gen 3 while Advanced was the 1st.

Don't know about the Italian opening but the English opening of Advanced Battle was awesome as well

I'll try to provide a translation of the Lyrics since they are amazing just like the music, it's a shame that you probably won't catch much of the original but it's still something...

Poké, Poké, Poké, Poké!
Kémon, kémon, kémon, kémon!
Poké, Poké, Poké, Poké!
Battle Advanced!

Poké, Poké, Poké, Poké! (Pokémon!)
Kémon, kémon, kémon, kémon! (Pokémon!)
Poké, Poké, Poké, Poké! (Pokémon!)
Battle Advanced!

You're a champion but,
you don't want to stop,
and new challenges approach,
which you already want to face! (GO!)

The more you go on,
to not stop there,
your victory is here,
you can count on it!

You can already feel the energy,
coming from your Pokéball,
which, thrown by you,
as a jet, flies away!

When a real Pokémon,
rises in the sky,
he looks for a challenge,
and lashes attacking!

He fights for real,
he's a real warrior,
and so he will win,
his  Advanced Battle.

Only a real Pokémon,
has a sincere heart,
and so he'll be proud,
to have you with him!

Stronger than a King,
he fights alongside you,
and resists because,
you can win the Advanced Battle!

Refrain

At this point,
you can't stop,
you must arrive here,
to compete! (GO!)

Now you have an objective,
and you won't betray it,
because you won't give up,
YOU want to continue!

then the stanzas are repeated in a different order.

Well if anything you ARE getting more SAO in 2017. Whilst I find the anime massively overated and not that great, suppose I'll post news about it for you fans :p

So if you weren't aware http://myanimelist.net/anime/31765/Sword_Art_Online_Movie__Ordinal_Scale

Oh dang!!! Thankyou! Now we just need another TG!

Pocky Lover Boy!

Listening to the new OP of Re Zero I'm wondering if Myth & Roid are even capable of making bad music. That album really can't come soon enough.

At this point I really just want a remake of both Berserk and Tokyo Ghoul, both were absolutely butchered.

Berserk(2016) IS a sequel and I'm sure some people got confused and thought that this was the beginning of the series. With the first episode out, it is obvious that they skipped not only the Lost kids Woods Arc, but also The Black Swordsman Arc, which is actually supposed to be the first arc, but they skipped right to the Golden Age Arc in the first season. Not to mention, they also left a lot of stuff out besides those two arcs like how he got his new weapons, some details about his childhod, how he escaped from the ending of the first season, introducing characters that shouldn't appear yet, etc. Then there's the cgi...when you have some of the most detailed and beautiful art out there in a manga for reference in the anime, you use it, not some lifeless cgi.

Tokyo Ghoul Root A changed way too much, he never joins "that" group, some important characters were never introduced, what happens to Hide in the end is different, the confrontation between Kaneki and Arima is completely different(not a walking simulator that lasts 5 minutes). Then the first season was extremely rushed, skipping a lot of characte development for Kaneki and the other characters. I feel like Pierrot will continue with the series and start TG:re as the third season and it is not gonna be pretty, although :re is much better, the small details and story are really what makes it stand out more. As long as they're the studio behind it, TG will never have a proper adaptation.

Honestly, both deserve so much more than what they're getting, especially Berserk, which is one of the biggest and most influential mangas ever. Both of them need to go to studios that will do proper adaptatons for the both of them because what they're getting now is a disgrace. When you have great source material like these two, you shouldn't change anything. All right I'm done with my little rant.

This Berserk anime seems like a sequel to the other anime rather than stand alone retelling of that story line. It starts really far into the timeline and you really don't know what's going on. I rather it start around when he met Griffith and go from there. They have to consider that people new to berserk are watching it. I've watched the other anime of it but haven't read of the manga. I don't like the animation. It's a huge turnoff.

The thing with Berserk is that the starting point was probably seen as a little tricky. The original anime at least covered a bit of the Black Swordsman arc before digging into the Golden Age arc with gusto. There was then a three movie remake that started around 2012 that remade the entire Golden Age arc in three movies, following Guts from when he meets Griffith to the very, very brutal finale before Guts would turn into the Black Swordsman, but without doing any of the Black Swordsman arc.

With that in mind, starting from the Golden Age arc yet again would have been legitimately frustrating in the third adaptation. The smartest place to start would have been the Black Swordsman arc to get Puck introduced properly through putting the arc into two or three episodes insteading of twisting things around in the 2016 adaptation. From there they could have passed over the Golden Age arc and continued into Convinction keeping the natural story progression of the source material.

Berserk 2016 is clearly going to be a lot of missed storytelling and artistic opportunities, but hopefully it manages to scrape by as a respectable project in its own right.

Psi Nan is releasing weirdly. Apparently there will be five ~5 minute releases Monday through Friday, and then it will be cut together for a full episode release each Sunday? I guess that is one way to try to make people feel like they don't have to wait, but the abrupt cut off to Episode 0 1/5 was a little jarring.

My impressions so far this season:

-Shokugeki no Souma was amazing, felt chills and goosebumps the whole episode, the music and all the explanations about the food always a joy to watch. The grandpa is the best character.

-Bananya, AOTS, no contest.

-Tales of Zestiria the X, decent prologue, great animation, don't have much of an opinion so far, but as a Tales of fan I'll enjoy it most likely.

Bananya: That was such an intense episode, not even the narrator himself could take it, had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end! This is gonna be good!

Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan:The way they did this series is weird, one 5 minute episode from moday to fridayand then they compile the parts on sunday. I liked what I saw, but the abrupt end really put me off, I'll just watch the full episode on sundays instead. Not like it's an anime I can't wait to see after all.

Taboo Tatoo:Really cliche, the way it started, you could name everything that was gonna happen from a mile away.  That being said, the animation and fights were really good and it seems like fun as long as you're not expecting a lot from it(main girl in particular seems like a fun character). I'll stick with it for now, hopefully it mixes some stuff up next episode.

Sweetness and Lightning: I really loved the first episode for this one. I like it when anime tries to go for a much more realistic approach and this dad gives me so many feels with the way he's struggling and trying to bring happiness to his daughter. I'm really looking forward to this series. This looks like an AOTS contender for me.
