Nah, I've never watched that show...I'm not really into sports anime (with a few exceptions), especially when they are longer than 12 episodes (I can only take so much "I'm gonna be the best"). I tend to really only watch sports anime that do something different...

Sports anime I've seen: Chihayafuru (amazing characters and Karuta is a really interesting sport), Ping Pong (amazing direction) and One Outs (interesting battle of wits)....and maybe No Game No Life, but I'm not sure if I can call that a sports anime.

lol, oh trust me. Yowapeda isn't so much about being the best though some characters are kinda hung up about being "strong" lol. Give it a shot, just 5 episodes. If you enjoy the first 5 you'll love the entire series and love every single character, even the ones who start off as total d****s

Theres a few things they don't have (Neko (Kuro) and Tsuki), but for the most part, they just organize it badly...

By the way, if you are planning to watch it for the first time, just ignore the text flashes...if you pick up a word or two, congrats, but for the most part it doesn't matter and it is not worth pausing every 5 seconds to read

Well, I may give it a shot at some point, but I have this problem, where if I start a series, I pretty much need to finish it xD
