Well if we use MyAnimeList as a base, Tokyo Ghoul was the second most popular show this season, behind only Sword Art Online II. The top five from the season in terms of popularity were:
1.Sword Art Online II
2.Tokyo Ghoul
3.Akame Ga Kill!
4.Zankyou no Terror
5.Aldnoah Zero

Meanwhile, Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler) has the highest rating with 8.49, followed by Zankyou with 8.42...

I haven't been watching enough anime recently. I don't get how some people can keep up with seasons and seasons of anime. :P

I tried reading it a while ago and stopped at chapter 10 because the site I was reading it on ( mangareader) had it completely messed up. Can you suggest me a better manga site?

Sorry man, can't really comment on scanlations or manga hosting sites, since (depending on your location) many of them could be very much against copyright laws. Sorry

I just watch the episode when it comes out. For example, I usually keep up with 3-4 animes every season, and watch the episodes as they are released. That means only around 2 hours total every week to watching anime.

Also, I occasionally marathon anime, but even then I'll only watch 3-4 episodes a week, so around 2 hours at that.

I'm in the same boat, but honestly, its my own doing. I've been watching tons of movies, but I just haven't been in the mood to watch anime :(

And I'm yet again a week behind -.-

I really need to start dropping hard next season. With all the games coming out I will be behind several weeks end of december. Need to limit myself to let's say 15.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

OK, so much for limiting myself next season -.-

I already see at least 15 undroppable shows.

Hmmm...for me I'll eventually watch:

Sequels to shows that I plan to watch eventually (Log Horizon, Selector Infected Wixoss, Psycho Pass)
Sequels to shows I have seen (Fate/stay night, Mushishi)
That show Trigger is animating (Inou Battle, don't know anything about it though...)
That show that Miyazaki is directing (Sanzoku, first I've heard of it...but its Miyazaki)
And whatever else people say is worth watching...

So probably around 10 shows eventually...

Don't forget that thing KyoAni is making.

Also this season is weirdly devoid of SHAFT.

I stopped paying attention to KyoAni a while ago...Chuu was basically unwatchable and I didn't bother watching that other show they did recently (the supernatural one). If it ends up being good then I'll watch it, but they are far from my "automatically watch" list. That basically only has SHAFT and a few Directors/Writers in it
