Destiny, farcry, LBP, Driveclub, The Order and Bloodborne are all small indie games? these are all releasing within the next 6 months. 

But on the same token Ben, while i do want more increased AAA games, the fact that Sony is taking such a reserved spending take on its playstation Part of its company does in fact show Sony is not going about flushing more money after bad..

Sony rightly showing more prudence in direction for the Playstation as a platform.

People complained, and complained about how the PSVita is a d@mn Money sink, investors and Sony is showing reserved Cost cutting measures to allow Playstation Profit's to show instead of always in the freaking Red!

The fact they are spending less to attain more profit shows they are trying to fix the parts of spending to gather more profit to be more healthy.

If I were to give Sony's conference a rating out of 10, it would be an 8.2/10. They kept me interested throughout the conference and showed a bunch of games of many different genres. The lack of TV talk was very much appreciated. When Sony talked about media/social features on the PS4, it was concise and did not take away from the conference. My rating of MS's Gamescom conference was a 7/10, for comparison.

Its was a very good show and once we start to care more about the actual quality of a game rather than caring more if its self published or published by a big company we all feel better about Sony's this year GC, other than 1st party games and bloodborne, Rime, Wild, the game that is on the store right now! and hellblade are all some very promising games and we all know that at the moment Sony does not need to show their big games! good night everyone.

of course you did. these games are announed more than a month or two before release. what did you expect, Guerrilla Games to announce their new IP and say its releasing next month? there are shit loads of AAA games coming to PS4 between now and March 2015. not really sure what you guys want, for Sony to announce  a game and release it 3 years in the future? 

Is that 9.9 million number sold in (aka shipped) or sold through?

I honestly find it hard to believe that VGChartz somehow under tracked by nearly 600k in July. Wasn't it within 150k total back at the end of June for both the US and JP?

Exactly.  The indie titles are nice to have to fill in gaps, but they're not the one's that move consoles.  Tomb Raider announcement bigger than anything from PS today...
