All of you forgot XIII. The cel-shaded shooter from the early 2000s. Shame on you all!

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

The best cel-shaded game, other than WWHD, that I have ever played was Rogue Galaxy. I still see that as a JRPG masterpiece.

I've heard of the game, but I've never managed to play it.. Is it any good?

Excellent. Leagues ahead of its time. 9/10.

I would have to put my vote on Valkyria Chronicles. When the first title screen movie played and it drew the scene in black and white followed by the color and animation began I knew I was getting into something special.

In looking through the list of cel-shaded games, I realize there are many I need to play.

Here are my suggestions:

Borderlands
Phantom Hourglass
Spirit Tracks
The Wind Waker
Skyward Sword
Gravity Rush
No More Heroes
Okami
Okamiden
Tales of Symphonia
Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure

The best of these, in my opinion, is Wind Waker.

Valkyria Chronicles is best answer.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Ni No Kuni is the finest cell shading I've seen in some time.

Does Valkyria Chronicles count? If it does, it wins by a long shot.

If not,

Graphics-wise, nothing beats Ni no kuni. Sadly the battle system is horrid and I had to quit after getting the third character. It just because a clusterf...

Tales of Xillia is the best Anime-styled game I played on the ps3 with ToGF a close second.

it certainly is cell-shaded and the game i would nominate as best cell-shaded game as well.

also,.  just to add i am also a huge fan of cell shaded games.  really looking forward to rime in part because it is cell shaded and gorgeous.

Only the "anime" part stuck in my head when I made that post. The "cell-shaded" totally flew over my head. Yes Valkyria Chronicles is the only best answer in that scenario. I don't see how anyone who's played it would say otherwise. Pity the series ended up rotting away on PSP.
