This. I want to hear them explain what other game releasing in Aug-Oct give more gameplay. Hell the rest of the year, there is no reason to believe the multi wont give CoD gameplay, and I think I will get 70-100 hours out of the co-op before any DLC. Seriously no FPS ever has tried to deliever this much gameplay in the "campaign mode"

What about Borderlands? Borderlands games seem to clock in at 20-35 hours for the main story (according to How Long to Beat) and in Borderlands 1 there are 48 Story missions (and 127 total missions). In Borderlands 1, there were 9 Areas (counting Rust Commons East + West as 1) and Borderlands 2 had 15 Areas...

According to this link (http://thedestinyblog.com/2014/07/27/report-destiny-will-have-22-story-missions-11-crucible-maps-6-strikes-4-exploration-areas-and-1-raid-at-launch/) Destiny only has 22 story missions...less than half of what was in Borderlands 1

I think your assertion that "no FPS ever has tried to deliver this much gameplay in campaign mode" is ridiculous...

Some other FPS Campaign times:
Half Life 2: 13.5 Hours
Deus Ex: 24 Hours
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: 16 Hours
Metroid Prime Echoes: 17.5 Hours
Far Cry 2: 17 Hours

Feel free to play the game for 100s of hours and whatnot, but don't act like it is some monumental occurence for an FPS game's campaign to be longer than 10 hours (if Destiny's campaign is even that long)
