So they were slacking off last gen?

No, they worked their butts off to get in bed with the dirty casuals. You know this.

Which is exactly my point. They were always pushing their system as hard as they do now. The only difference is that a lot of Nintendo fans got megaphones now.

Hype? Where Nintendo's going they don't need hype.

"Games are a trigger for adults to again become primitive, primal, as a way of thinking and remembering. An adult is a child who has more ethics and morals, that's all. When I am a child, creating, I am not creating a game. I am in the game. The game is not for children, it is for me. It is for an adult who still has a character of a child."

The only difference is now Nintendo is the one losing. Nintendo fans feel they have to make up for the big piece of suck that is the Wii U, hence why you feel there's more talk about it.

So I guess we do agree in the end, you dirty Sony fanatic.

Discovered hype? Wii anyone :-p

Maybe Nintendo is finally off that high and waking up? The WiiU will come into it's own soon.

If you can't beat'm, join'm.

with other consoles selling on little else BUT hype, using both hype AND actually delivering on that hype should prove to be awesome.

also ditto on Bayonetta 2 needing more of that hype push, they should really advertise the game more and have some commercials for it, even. They need to do the game and PlatinumGames justice. It's also one of the bigger titles coming out. It would be a mistake not to push this game when it's one of the better, bigger-budget games coming out and they only have so many titles and the game should (ideally) also appeal to hardcore gamers who claim Nintendo only makes baby games

Couldn't have said it any more beautifully.

You Sir, are a poet.

And I don't know it.

I know.

Nintendo was pretty hype crazy with the wii (at least with the casual audience)

I honestly would not be suprised if there were a few "changes" in the marketing department. I mean they REALLY dropped the ball on the WiiU.
