I did always think it weird how vague nintendo was being with the wii u release date...

See Watch Dogs/Mario Kart as an example. Release dates and first 7-8 weeks of both games being out, Yes. Lifetime Not even close.

LTD SSB (WiiU) will outsell Destiny (XOne) even though 3DS-Version of SSB will eat a ton of sales. But i guess Destiny (PS4) will even sell more than SSB (WiiU), but not as much as SSB (3DS)

I would say LTD:

SSB (3DS) > Destiny (PS4) > SSB (WiiU) > Destiny (XOne)
BUT: Destiny (PS4+PS3+X360+XOne) > SSB (3DS+WiiU)

Ratio SSB 3DS/WiiU will probably be around 60/40 to 65/35.

That isnt a very good example though. Mario kart is a bigger franchise than smash and watch dogs isnt supposed to sell nearly as much as destiny...

i see both smash and destiny having very long legs. With the way they are developing destiny where characters can be used in sequels and sequel characters used in prequels, i actually see future iterations driving destiny sales instead of diminishing them...

i would be highly shocked as i suspect almost everyone who owns a WiiU will grab smash bros where i dont think Destiny on the x1 will hit 1.5 million

Good to know. I think that in general games on the twins are much more frontloaded than Nintendo games. A good example is Watch Dogs versus MK8. I feel that MK8 will outsell at leas the PS4 version of Watch Dogs over time, but right now the opposite is true on the short term.

Don't get your notion here, Destiny is a new IP as well and the prediction is it will sell more on one platform then Smash, in this instance WD and MK8 are a good comparison to the Destiny/Smash prediction so why should he compare it to all platforms instead of the one it sold highest on?
