if it was exclusive, then id say it was a big win, but since its not, i cant bring myself to say ''big win for ps4''.

White PS4's are pretty sexy though

360/xboxone beta started today,  compare the buzz between ps and xb fans,  its like night and day,  almost feels like the xbox fans are so salty about the ps favoritism by bungie that they cant bring themselves to like it.

It could also be the fact that it handles and plays like Halo, something that xbox fans have had access to for over a decade. Somewhere between it feeling and playing like Halo with magic, swapping out space-jargon names from things like Covenant and Ghost to Fall and Sparrow, and the rather less-than-appealing exclusivity deals, I am not surprised that xbox fans would be much more lukewarm to the game in general.

So....it handles and plays like Halo, so Xbox fans don't care since they've had Halo for a while. Man, I couldn't tell on this site, since Xbox fans are going bonkers over the MCC. The same reason you say Xbox fans don't care for Destiny is the same reason they are saying the MCC is going to sell gangbusters and move consoles: Halo they've had access to for over a decade. Seems a little inconsistent.

And if the exclusivity deals are "less than appealing" (if you think this, you're just biased, btw), then really, it's quite the even playing field, to you, when comparing the PS and XB versions.

So with that said, according to you, what's the real reason for a lukewarm response from Xbox fans. From the "makes sense" standpoint, I can see why. But from your point of view, I just don't get it

The only difference.... It doesn't handle or play like Halo....

It's revenge for every time the Xbox 360 got a dlc earlier than the ps3.

Send a Friend Request On PSN :P

I've noticed a couple of comments say Destiny has had a like warm reception from XB1 fans. Where is that coming from?

The PS5 Exists.

It'll be massive, the biggest new IP of the year is associated solely with the PS4? That can only end well for Sony. Is there a prediction thread for how many PS4s will be sold during Destiny week?

it actually might be the biggest new IP for the gen. it surely is built, marketed and has the backing to be so.

It might very well be (I just saw that ioi forcasted 10mil sold in the first week, that's just crazy), though the Division could also become huge in a year or so, its only problem is that that has its exclusive content on the X1, that might hold it back.

i honestly think it will. however The Division is a third person shooter and Destiny is a FPS. while both are pretty popular i still think Destiny will be on top mostly for that. also Destiny has the "From the creators of Halo and Publishers of Call of Duty" line in its marketing, that alone is huge.

It won't only be a big win. It will also mark a good first year for the console. A good start for the PS4, while there's more to come.

I guess you could say...The Best Is Yet To Come

Exactly my thoughts

Looking at the hype it's building it's pretty much the same as if Halo would have gone multiplat. So yeah that's big.
