I really don't care for musou or the zelda franchise. That being said, i don't think the zelda will be tarnished. The game is only going to sell on the merits that is technically a zelda game.

It's just a spinoff. The cdi games didn't do any lasting damage outside of tired jokes on the internet.

No, of course it won't hurt the Zelda franchise. What people need to worry about is will it sell to be a success or be shunned and ignored.

I never thought of that as a Musou game, but yeah they do :P.

Wow, I never noticed that dead rising was a Western Musou game...

But Dead Rising isn't a western game. It was made by Capcom under Inafune's direction.

It wont hurt Zelda, but I think it could help out the Warriors series more than anything. I've never bothered with them, but I'm gonna get Hyrule Warriors because of the Zelda tie-in, and if I like it, I may find myself buying Warriors games in the future.

But made in Canada, so kinda western.
