And so!

where is the point?

mario kart has better legs than watch dogs! That's it you mean?

comparing one of the top nintendo's exclusive with a multiplatform game is for you an interesting thing to do?

Yes, because all user of this site have said on April-May "MarIO KarT Is DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM"

And now sell more of Watch_Dogs that ALL have said that had to sell more... yeah.

You're getting a little too excited here. So MK8 outsold WD PS4 by a couple thousand units in the UK this week, overall WD has still sold over twice as much as MK over there. Also MK was always going to sell well, the Nintendo audience is crazy about that franchise, people doubted its system moving qualities and we'll see how those look in July.

MK8 will sell for years unlike WD. The thing that hurt most of the Sony fanbase here is that the biggest seller on Wii U will sell more than the biggest seller on PS4 for the moment.

No it doesn't really hurt anyone, because unlike the Wii U, the PS4 will already get at least one bigger seller than Watch Dogs this year, possibly 2 depending on Cods performance. That's the difference here, as you've said WD is the biggest seller for now, while MK8 is literally the biggest game the Wii U will ever get. So why would anyone be hurt because a game that probably 90% of Wii U owners have some degree of interest in outsells the first big third party game on PS4, which is also on 4 other platforms at the moment...?

This post doesnt make sense!

it isnt impressive that a game like mario kart released less than two months ago sells more than multiplatform on ps4 or a kind of exclusive game on xbox released in march...

i would think more about hardware weekly decresing on a likely 60k baseline and no releasing for months waiting the end of summer

Finally it is not related with USA selling at all!

You surely look like someone worried by the Wii U revival in the PAL region. Two months is more than enough to see the legs of the games, which are absolutely great. The bundle is selling ver well also across Europe.

MK8  has put the Wii U on the map,a nd its effect will not only last until the end of the year, but well after.

Not at all....strong legs from a game like mario kart is easily predictable...pointing it,looks like showing that the console is not dead....topic for brainless supporters

Everything was flopping hardcore on Wii U. MK8 is the first game which sold very well (already more than 2 millions outside holiday seasons). It is not only shwoing great legs, but it has also a lasting effect on consoles sales in the West.

MK8 basically showed that the Wii U wasn't dead and put it back into the race. It won't be a sub 15 millions discontinued console like people were predicting here.

Ehi guy, dont mind people and their stupid prediction, who predict 15 milion is a hater who enjoys for nintendo difficults

You should tell me why, because as one of the numerous Sony fan that get pissed of at any mention of MK8 selling well, you are probably in the best position to answer your own question.

For me Wii U don't be dropped 60K for July because MK8 sell again 90-100 K on week (last week is even increase of 4%), and even because VGChartz this month have underestimated the Wii U sales in USA.

By start of augost will dropped 50K but return to more of 60 with Hyrule Warriors, and by Septemer will be increase a lot thanks Hyrule Warrios in USA/EU (little boost), and Bayonetta 2-Fatal Frame in Japan (big boost).

Minecraft still selling like crazy, I really hope the Vita edition catches is on. Sony need to push it!!!

Lol, nice try. But I don't get pissed by MK selling well. If at all I get "pissed" by people overstating the importance or effect of MK.

We'll see what July and August brings. But I wouldn't expect too big of a boost from either HW, Bayonetta nor Fatal Frame. All those games are more or less small.

Damn that Mario Kart staying power!
