I almost never buy Blu Rays. Hell, can't remember the last one I bought. I want HDD support so I can watch movies from my external.

I do remember people making fun of the Xbox One for not having 3D support way back when. Good to see the support added, even if I wont be using it.

There are some articles reporting that there are some video streaming apps being developed fro X1.

Those apps might be able to stream videos off HDD (which is supported now).

I personally like MS and Sony to play at a weak position.  When that happens they try to out due each other.  PS+ is a good example.  I wonder if Nintendo being on top is the best situation for all gamers.

Yes, when two similar products meet by blocking out major differences it makes it harder for the consumer to decide what they want. This forces the consumer to narrow it does to what really matters in the console since what they offer inches closer to being exactly alike.

The sales don't lie. Third parties didn't thrive during Nintendos short reign last gen.

Xbone UI is like a Live Beta, pretty good shit. I'll give props to M$ when it comes to OS updates. Someone's gotta be the guinea pig. Thanks M$, your beta program will only help the competition to become better too, because they'll just add it after you've worked out the kinks.

Xbone... the new "N" word   Apparently I troll MS now | Evidence | Evidence

Actually 3rd party devs did thrive, they had the PS3 and 360.  What I am saying is that it probably great that Nintendo go their own way and sale strong while MS and Sony fight over 2nd place pickings.  This way the industry continue to thrive and gamers reap the benefit of 2 huge corporations going toe to toe.
