Wii U software sales are up by nearly 500 percent in the UK month-over-month, likely due to the launch of Mario Kart 8.

In May, Wii U move just 24,000 pieces of software. That number rose to 139,000 units last month. This resulted in a 479 percent increase.

Was hoping someone would post this...looks like VGC's tracking for software is low across the board. I added up Wii U and its 20k under and XBO is something like 120k under. I didn't do the math but it looks like PS4 is under also...

Unless I'm missing something?

There seems to be a bit more of a buzz about Wii U in the UK since Mario Kart and the digital event, even a lot of my Playstation and Xbox friends are buying them. I dont feel so much like the odd one out these days lol, great to see.
