Sony has never been saying much about NPD. Even with the PS4 they have for the last couple months only been saying "We're still first" basically, it's then up to leakers to give us that information.

Well most of the time I'm pretty happy with where I live but everytime these things come around I get annoyed, same thing with Sony press conferences when they are in the US, I have to stay awake for ever for those too. Worst offender: The PS4 launch event, I waited till 6 or 7am for that and all I got out of it was a completely useless UC4 teaser.
