I have also been liberated from IGN. There's a HUGE population of the most obvious trolls and either people don't catch on and give them all the attention they crave, or the trolls become semi-celebrities and people upvote all of their stuff. It's a nightmare.

Iff sumwun tipes lyke this adn yoo tel them too lern how too tipe than yoo ar verry gulabull

(Not a joke.  There are about a thousand people on IGN who do this on every article and it ALWAYS WORKS.)

Me three! And I felt the same way...the users here were more friendly and responsive.  In '07 we had some great mods, too (nothing against the current mod staff).

Welcome to the site. I stumbled across this site while trying to find numbers to use in an IGN discussion. Lurked for awhile and then eventually joined. I too started to despise IGN. Just a few things adding up in a couple of months (mainly, calling people who liked Uncharted better than Gears fanboys and for botching up a review of The Fight and then trying to cover it up), so now I don't go there anymore.
