Forums - Nintendo - Would you rather a brand new Zelda or an OoT remake?

No, Twilight Princess was A Link to the Past 3 while OoT was A Link to the Past 2. So far neither have topped the original LttP.

That doesn't make my post any less true. They're still the same game.

I know. They're all LttP but not quite as good. That was my point.

Link to the past was my favorite by far.. I'm pretty sure I found every secret and explored the whole game in its entirety.

You could say im fly.

I think I got to that thief's place if i remember it was down south on the map..

The jump from 2D to 3D was confusing for me. Took me a while to get used to.

Actually, it was NW on the map. :P

You got near the Spirit temple and gave up?

YOU GAVE UP AT ONE THE BEST POINTS IN THE GAME?

I refuse to believe.

No more remakes for fraks sake

dont neglect me but...lol

I never beat OoT.... making the jump to 3D was hard as a youngster.

I'd get lost and shit.
I never beat OoT because I was always scared of Water Temples, they gave me the hebbie jebbies back in the day.

Same.  Got to the Water Temple when the game first came out, again on the GC, and also on an emulator, and quit right then and there.  Loved the game, hated the Water Temple.

Though I have played quite a bit of adult Link, including riding lots of Epona and doing the final boss fight, on friends' files/files that were on the cartridge when I rented it.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

@Weezy, I order you, as a stronger, more masculine man, to immediately play through OOT on VC, immediately. You have...no choice.

@Topic - New game. I'm playing through OOT again right now on VC(best game on VC, by far, second Paper Mario, third LTTP, but maybe Super Castlevania or Starfox 64, also Sin and Punishment is suprisingly good). 480P with 16:9 looks great on my 42" Toshiba Regza. GREAT. Love the game, love love love it.

I will play any Zelda Nintendo releases, of course, but I would prefer a new game, as classic as OOT. The best is the best for a reason though, so I'm not expecting it to be passed, with Miyamoto and his tangents lately.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

New Zelda please, while remakes are sometimes good that one is still new enough no to warrant a remake.
