But I thought you liked Sonic Unleashed, Nintentacle!  Anyway, Mario Kart Wii had a lot of potential thanks to its online component, but everything went downhill pretty fast..

I do like the game, I just hate some of the segments in the Werehog levels.

Prince of Persia reboot.  The platforming was good, artstyle was good, but combat was awful.

But isn't that the case with every game on the series? At least I clearly remember The Two Thrones' combat also being absolutely dull and boring.

Anyway, my vote goes to Legend of Mana on the PS1. Pretty graphics, an extremely pleasant soundtrack, really fun gameplay, intense (if ridiculously easy) boss fights... but the game's structure is complete bullshit. It's like a collection of sidequests, it's as if they took FFVI's World of Ruin and made it into a full game. I really want to love Legend of Mana, I really do... but I can't... =(

Oh, and on the 7th gen, definitely Folklore. Best use of the Sixaxis yet, interesting concept and setting. But it's way too repetitive (you have to pretty much play the same game twice), and the story is also screwed up

Pikmin 3 could have a level editor, which would increase the value and replayability almost immeasurably. One small feature, allowing us to simply scratch out caves and place fruit and baddies on the touchscreen and share the whole thing online, would make the game huge and endlessly entertaining.

Instead we've got a short campaign and a handful of DLC packs. And for those of us who have zero interest in beating our times, that's not worth much.

Currently playing:

Bloodbath Paddy Wagon Ultra 9

As much as I love the game, I'll have to say Chrono Cross. It just seemed like the game wanted to do more with it's story considering the plot info dump you get right before the final boss.

Also if you thought 7th gen sonic games were bad, you should have seen 5th gen Sonic games!

Sonic Jam! (wasn't bad but it was just another sonic collection)

To be honest, Sonic 06 was worse than ALL the other bad Sonic games put together, but I do agree that the 5th generation wasn't a good one for Sonic!
