A lot of gamers recently have just been going on and on about how well the PS4 is doing. Granted seling as much as it has to this point is no small feat, but PS4 is no longer the fastest selling console. The PS4 as of 6/28 was at 8,290,825. The Wii (back in 2007 at almost the same point 6/30) was at 9,045,750. So is it the fact that the PS4 outsold the Wii U so fast that is making it look so good. You guys tell me.

The Wii has numbers that will never be matched, just like the PS2 does. The PS4 is doing realy well both in a buble and when compared to the oposition.

I think the one sufering is the Xbox One, wich isnt doing bad at all but when compared to the PS4 is getting a lot of flak it doesnt deserve.

The PS4 is doing really well. If you look back at 2007, 360 year two and PS3 year one, PS4 has been outselling them by 30k or more weekly. During this time of the year those consoles were selling in the same 60k range that XBO is currently at.

This holiday will sell a lot of units, and the massive influx of new users will push people to upgrade over the next year to play with their friends. PS4 will continue to sell well regaurdless of what it is comparied to. Even in comparision to the Wii PS4 is doing quite well given the price difference and the lack of casual appeal.

Yeah, the gap is shorter now. This will probably change when more games are released. People chose PS4 to multiplat, so it will probably maintain the differences. Of course, that's just theory.

Both the Wii U and X1s bad sales are making the PS4 look better.

Actually, the PS3, X360, X1, and WIi U make the PS4 look good. The Wii makes the PS4 look bad. The Chartz don't go back further.
