Random thing i just noticed is that two of the pirates in The Wind Waker are named after firebenders: Zuko and Mako

Or, rather, pre-named. I forgot that the game predates even the original series by 2 years.

First Young Justice and now this. At most I think we will get one off specials now.

Mako was named after Iroh's voice actor.  Not sure if they used Zuko as a sort of pun since Iroh's actor was named Mako.

Back to the thread, I just finished watching season 3.  I don't even know how to feel right now O_O

I don't think it's on the level of A:TLA, but that was definitely the best season of Korra so far.

It certainly was more intense than anything ATLA pulled, but the question is more about character development.

Yeah, this was pretty much what I've wanted from Korra and season 2 was a dud.  I'm sad too cause 12 episodes for season 4 isn't going to be enough to give the series a proper send off.  Like this season needed to be season 2.
