I don't mind these small projects, I'm sure the team is also working hard on a new 3D Mario platformer right now. Just something to keep us busy while we wait.

I'm not "hating", it's just not worth my time for what it is. This whole thread is about how Nintendo could make the game more compelling, but as it is it's just not compelling enough.

I know. Just found that gif funny.lol

Fair enough.

Nintendo are making the EXACT game they were asked for and threw in some stuff to spice it up (which looks like another game we've also begged for, Pokemon Snap).

I say let em do it. As long as there are enough levels and a proper difficulty curve who cares if Nintendo use a level system rather than a continuous world.

I'd rather play this than the Indiana Jones thing you posted. For grand adventures of those kind, there is always Uncharted and Tomb Raider.

Goes without saying. Different tastes for different people.

It's not jusyt the level system that is at issue. I get what you're saying though.

I"m sure you would. As I explained that Indiana Jones video was just an example of how items could be used. Uncharted and Tomb Raider don't really scratch that adventure game itch especially not Uncharted. They're mostly action games like I said as well.
