I still feel FFXII is very good........underrated so much imo...it's better than 8, 7!

no better than FFX or FF6.....about on par with FF4 n FF9 I would say

FF 8 turn me off about the series ( although FF9 was quite good ).
Now I don't care anymore about new chapter of Final Fantasy ...

Hot damn, the views for this thread went from 40 to 100 in about 5 minutes. Guess I'm not the only one that feels this way, even Mystic Quest is better than FF8.

I don't get the point of making threads to hate on a game, especially one that came out as long ago as FF8.

FFVIII was my favorite (tied with 6) and I've beat it six times, three of those times I got most if not all the extra stuff. I love the cast, I like the story, I really enjoyed the junction system and I love me some gunblade. I am an extreme minority.

thats what I like about FF

Each one is "different" with different characters

so say if I HATE one I may like the other... not like regular franchises where If I hate say MGS & snake, I probably won't play another MGS
