You do understand that PS Now is a game streaming service, right?

If you don't, feel free to do a little research as to how that works. In short, games play remotely, not on local hardware. It goes without saying you can't stream anything without a network connection.

But you do understand and instead are implying (or maybe you're confused or ill informed) that PS Now is a required service automatically tied to the PS4. In other words, you seem to imply that by owning a PS4, you have to subscribe to PS Now (which is a paid for and optional service), ergo you have to have an always on internet connection, ergo the PS4 has always online DRM (and yes, any content streaming service is a form of DRM).

But you probably also understand that this is fallacious thinking. I don't think you're an idiot. You're smarter than that. 

That's the funny thing. I and plenty of Sony fans will never support a DRM console or digital only. I personally would never buy that type of product from anyone. If that does become the future then I am done with console gaming. I would only play on Steam then and I would have to buy a WiiU buy default if Sony had DRM.That is the day that I stop playing console period.

And how is it being stealthily brought back when M$ just told you they will be using it. OP is trying to bust M$es balls for using always online for Cloud. Well if you think about it, if you want to use Sony's Cloud, then you need to be always online too. That implies to any Cloud, streaming, gaming, datas storage, whatever. You will need internet.

Fine you understand that its a service, But why cant you understand that it is not mandatory to have PS NOW?
