Four player party fighter with a similar graphics style.  It's a SSB ripoff.

It's a minigame intended to be like Smash Bros., made by the same developers who made Smash Bros.

Smash Bros and Kirby have always fed off each other, even after Sakurai's departure from HAL in 2004.

Yes. Hence my point.

Honestly, I was hoping someone would argue that there's different gameplay.  I would have commented about the Nintendo fans who called Playstation All Stars a SSB clone despite having completely different gameplay and mechanics.

PSASBR is a rip off. Kirby Fighting Mini game is not. Even the creators of PSASBR said its a rip off and sony fans know it. (Not like its a bad thing anyway)

Nintendo Fans dont need to tell you that, almost every reviewer in a way said psasbr is a rip off cuz of it as well. Stop with the "Nintendo Fans" all grouped together comments.

SSB is apart of Kirby. Kirby ⇒ SSB is Kirby with fighting elements. Same creator as well.

PSABR isn't a ripoff.  It's not a good game, but far from a ripoff.  Completely different gameplay and mechanics.

Well, the original Smash Bros. anyway. Twenty years ago or so.

No Gameplay is just about 100% the same. Only difference is how to kill an opponent. Hit your target offscreen vs Supers. Though that makes how you play different, all in all its the same game but terrible execution (due to the Supers only method).

They tried to be different with stage combines (2 franchises in 1), How to defeat opponents, and..... Thats about it.

Dunno how a person can say Kirby Fighters is a rip off if they think psasbr is not?

HAL also developed Melee and was involved in development of Brawl. Not to mention that the original Smash Bros is exactly 15 years old, not 20. (:

Was going to say pretty much the exact same thing, lol.

I stand corrected.
