It was about a few months ago Nintendo told us they are working on a new core Mario game but didn't say if it was for 3DS or Wii U.What do you think it's for and will it be a new game or a sequel?

Highly doubt its the 3ds and I hope its one step above Mario Galaxy 3 like Super Mario Universe and I hope its not just the name thats changed

They always say what platforms they are working on...hmmmm.....maybe it will be like SSB. One version on each:)

I highly doubt its a mario galaxy since Nintendo cuts a Mario series each generation. We never saw another sunshine and nor will we see a Mario Galaxy 3 on the Wii U. I feel like Sunshine 2 is more likely since it was released a while back.

I honest dont want a sequel but a new series. We have seen Mario everywhere though. On the ground, Space, underground, in water, snow where next?

Why dont we see a Mario game in the real world. Like he is struggling in the real world to collect gold but completing heists and beating up cops while doing so. Stealing cars to get from pipe to pipe where missions start. Grand theft mario. You know what? Better yet, Half Life 3!!!!!!!!!

Mario Galaxy type of game for the Wii U. Holliday 2015 release date.

I'm assuming it'll be for Wii U, and I really hope its not Super Mario Galaxy 3. It can draw from Galaxy games for gameplay ideas, but I hope they move onto a new theme.

Better be a 3D game not like 3D World, but more like galaxy.
I don't count 3D World as a true 3D Mario game. More like 2.5D.

Yeah, me too. They would have to change too much about it to make it work with the Upad, so it wouldnt feel like a Galaxy game anyway.
