Isn't games with Gold changed from 360 to XB1? Now they don't stay if you unsub. Plus I don't see the problem of more games and them being there when you resub.

It is good value. 69 cents for each game (72 a year).
Doesn't mean everyone should do it though. PS can do it because its direct competitor got away with it, meaning they can too, theoretically. Nintendo is a different matter
Steam doesn't need to do it at all
Why? Nintendo doen't have any games that can't be played through emulator except the Wii U.

Because the vast majority of the world doesn't use emulators.
it's actually "too good" for me
I have a PS3 and a Vita and waaay too many games to play due to PS+.
I think it would be ok as long as they don't tie it with putting online multiplayer behind a paywall.
But it can also cause problems. I know a guy with PS+ and a PS3 + Vita. His backlog of PS+ games is so long that he doesn't buy nearly as many games as he used to.
And I don't really like the devaluation of video games in recent years (especially mobile + PC).

Yeah, it appears you're right. I missed that news.

Nintendo wouldn't have to offer relatively new full price games every month. How about that mix for $5 - $8 per month?
1 Virtual Console game (alternating NES, SNES, GBC, GBA), cross-buy for Wii U and 3DS
1 WiiU-compatible eShop game (smaller indie, 6 - 12 months old)
1 3DS-compatible eShop game (smaller indie, 6 - 12 months old)
1 Wii-game for the WiiU (perhaps alternating with GC-game)
1 DS-game for the 3DS
So if you only have one system, you get 1 new eShop game, 1 game of the last generation (first or third party) thanks to backward compatibility and 1 VC-classic (first party). If you own both systems, you get 2 new eShop games, 2 games of the last generation (first or third party) and 1 VC-classic (first party) compatible to both.
They could add 1 full price WiiU game per year to sweeten the deal... some good game with low sales like The Wonderful 101. And of course 1 full price 3DS game... perhaps something slightly underperforming like Yoshi's New Island or Sonic Lost World.
Its interesting that PS3 owners who dissed subscription online are now praising it. Goes to show people are willing to buy anything that has great value
