That's not sexist at all? You are entitled to your opinion, but you can't go proclaiming your opinion to the world and expect everyone to agree with you. Your thoughts are not absolute. If you can't buck up and handle the backlash, don't go around puplicly spewing your opinion.

And if people can't handle my opinion then they should be adult enough to keep their mouths shut. It works both ways. If you can't handle other people's opinions then maybe they should have parent controls on their computers.

Common sense and the ability to read(which makes research a lot easier) make me the expert compared to most other people who don't possess these traits.

I never assumed you were a woman, neither did I call you one. All I'm seeing is a white knight(I dare you to label that as racism) running around playing the victim and blame game.

Conflicts and verbal attacks against people have existed for millenias but only recently people started putting their favorit -ism labels on it to make it sound more serious than it is.

I'll still go by my mantra: If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.( I dare you to label that saying as a mysogynist attack). Unless verbal attacks are organized and in an ideological manner I will consider any of those "attacks" as non-harmful.

so just because some people agree with you makes my opinion false? what about the countless others that have disagreed with you a million other times, does that result in your opinion being false as well? 

i am not being mean, i am being straight foward and reasonable, if you can't handle it then its really none of my concern. You are calling other users Sexist because they think Taylor swift if a whore, how on earth am i the one being mean here. 

I'm not going to label that as a sexist attack, but I will label it as a "You think bullying is okay comment" which is just as bad.

Regarding the topic at hand, while I do think there is a bit of a problem with sexism on this forum I don't think Taylor Swift is the example to use.  Myself and any of the other moderators would step in to protect a member of this forum who themselves are being subject to sexist remarks, but you'd have a harder time finding one of us who is going to protect a celebrity who isn't a member of the forum.

Finally, I'm pre-emptively locking this thread before it gets more out of hand than it already is.  If you have actual concerns about sexism on this forum, send a message to out head moderator (Axumblade) or deputy head moderator (Kantor).

Well excuse me for having difficulty believing in the seriousness of a thread that starts with the OP saying that he's left this website in tears 3-4 times and then went to bed and cried, because someone said something mean about women on here. I mean even if you're on the softer side this is just a little extreme.

Whatever, you obviously just don't like me and will NEVER EVER attempt to see my side on these things. This is why I leave the forum in tears sometimes.

Yes, it works both ways. You're making my point for me. If you're entitled to spew your opinion to world, everyone else is entitled to spew theirs back at you. If you can't handle that, keep it to yourself.

Well, I'm being serious, but regardless if it is a forum or not, I'm still in America. I'm not trying to compete with you because you're the authority, but you're comment pretty much says all illegal activity, such as prostitution, stealing, and such should be okay, because it's not in the forum rules.
