I just want to say that I don't question the moderators actions, and I do think they do a fantastic job, but please hear me out. I do think sexism should be addressed a little heavier. Everyone knows I do have a bit of a soft shell, and there have been 3 or 4 times I've left the website in tears and went to bed and cried; all because of some really mean comments towards anyone with a vagina. Then to say "we're men!" that's why it's even more sexist. The only thing that would get me out of that horrible mood was when I played my Taylor Swift albums. She always makes me so happy, and I can't help but to share with everyone how much she changed my life. Sometimes people can be a little mean when it comes to females and then simply put them off as tools of sex and nothing more, because they don't have a penis. It really is unfair sometimes, and I've even contacted a moderator recently, because someone for NO REASON, came into my thread and said Taylor Swift was a whore, a slut, etc etc, and the thread had NOTHING to do with Taylor Swift.. I found it super sexist, but a mod did step in, but I felt it should have been addressed a little heavier.

That being said, I just wanted to get this matter off my chest. You're all super nice, and thank you so much for your free hard work. Have a fantastic 4th!!

Yes, I saw the thread, but I feel like this issue is VERY important to the mental health of members who feel like the forums can get a little bit misogynistic.

It does get a bit crazy sometimes, but I dont think you should take most of the stuff being said literally or seriously at all. Calling a woman a whore usually doesnt mean she sleeps with alot of men, its just an easy insult. When someone call me a bastard, I just laugh it off. I dont go "...but my parents have never been unfaithful to each other". Its just a common term.

I do agree that women suck because they have no penis.

i completely agree with this statement. women are not sex toys, and they arent just good for getting you freaks off. they have many talents and abilities like cooking and cleaning. we should stop the ignorance and accept that women can do well both in bed and in the kitchen.

Calling someone a whore is a much more powerful term than bastard, unless you're super religious. The word has a much deeper meaning, especially to girls who are without a doubt not whores. But thank you for your imput, thank you for not jumping down my throat. You're super nice!

This is exactly what I mean... Please take your sarcasm elsewhere. But the second I post such and such is a better musical artist than such and such, it gets attacked. It's a very horrible double standard on this website.

Uh, calling a woman a slut or a whore is not sexist at all. Saying their only purpose in life is to grow babies and make me a sandwich is sexist.

Oh please god no. The mods are already oversensitive about controversial issues, quickly branding an innocent joke as homophobia or racism when the context is as innocent as it could be. All these isms need to stop. 90% of the time those words are thrown around they are misdirected.

No it's not, but the way it's used makes it sexist. Some of the attacks on women on this forum over the years are unbelievable.
