If it's not bullshit (I'm still awaiting a reply) then it looks like games you've already purchased digitally will automatically be available to play for free with PSNow. This also leads me to believe that there WILL be an option to buy a game digitally if you so wish. Perhaps if you choose that option they'll automatically deduct what you've paid for rental from the price of the purchase.

Would be cool, but I'm still a bit sceptical, maybe if Sony excludes PS+ "purchases" somehow, otherwise it would be a bit too good to be true imo, especially undermining the rentals. Still would be great if true. 



So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

I really hope this is not true. PS Now needs money to maintain the servers, rent space for servers, pay electricity, pay bandwidth fees, and for growth and covering R & D + start up costs.

Sony needs this to be part of a monthly plan. Something like one game a month for rent + access to your PSN catalogue for $9.99. Sony can not afford a free game streaming service.

Just like PS+ membership incentifies people to then browse the content on PSN and perhaps purchase something, being able to play PS+ games for free via PSNow would incentify people to try the service and perhaps rent a game or two.

So you can buy a game digitally and redownoad it as often as you wish without the option of selling it *and* you can play it via PSNow, introducing max. 720p, compression artifacts and a big addition of lag? Perhaps I don't see it but where is the advantage?

You already can with Vita. And not "everywhere" - you better have wifi-access. Via 3g you would have even more lag.

Btw, I am still doubting this as I don't see that Sony is able to put every game on Gaikai by now.
