Forums - Sony Discussion - Sony Defends Against Claims That PS4 Lacks Exclusives This Holiday

I edited that, they (the HALO games) are very decent man, but The last of us is a freaking masterpiece.

Subjective on the "decent" and "freaking masterpiece" parts. Both are quality games if you don't like either genre Halo MCC provides the quantity AND quality. Which makes it an awesome buy at $60. Anyone neutral about the situation could see that.

Fair enough, I guess it is not very objective indeed. I can see that.

They are pretty cool, I have ODST and 4, but, come on, you know what I am talking about, it is a whole other league...

TLOU is really brilliant. But its not by any means in a whole other league to the best Halo games...

That is just for me I guess, I see your point.

The X1 really is not lacking exclusive content this holiday. It has two huge exclusives and one that is likely to be huge just as its headliners.

You can reasonably argue they are not for you, or that you don't think they'll sell well. But that doesn't mean the X1's exclusive content isn't very fleshed out for its second holiday!

Two huge exclusives?   MCC and ??

Forza. Though it is also on Xbox 360 - fair point. That said, it appears there will be quite a gulf between the versions, and its only available to Xbox gamers.

Dude, come on Forza is not a huge exclusive to be mentioned alongside halo. And forza horizon even less so.

Forza is an important franchise for xbox because it ticks an important genre box. But don't confuse importance with magnitude. Especially when talking about forza horizon; even forza fans don't take that game too seriously. Forza horizon is to forza as Driveclub is to gran turismo.

When a journalist or a gaming site has an agenda. Planetside 2, Battlefield, Destiny, Assassins Creed, The Last of Us, Deep Down, Project Cars, Drive Club, The Crew, Diablo 3, Evolve, Little Big Planet 3, GTA5 and PS+ games does not matter.

"PS4 lacks exclusives"

Most of what you posted isn't.

Also, gaming sites and journalists have called out the Wii U countless times last year, did they also have an agenda?

Both XBONE and PS4 lacks exclusives, but both aren't lacking in games. Do you see my point now? Let me know if you need me to elaborate more.

I'd be willing to bet that Sunset Overdrive will be bigger than any game Sony has releasing this year

I thought so, it seemed like most of the people covering it were positive  about the game. Of course that could turn out differently by time it launches though. Only negative thing I've heard anyone say is that it could get boring quickly, which can really be said about any game if you ask me.

What? Sunset Overdrive was well received in its previews... Only complaint I'm seeing is the frame rate in multiplayer.
