It's simple:

People bought Halo 4 thinking "this is the sequel of the awesome Halo 3"

Instead they got a COD sequel with master chief's skin.

People got dissapointed with the game(and with 343i) and abandoned the multiplayer fast.

Ok that still has nothing to do with the comment you replied to or the thread.

what other thread?

I didn't say anything about another thread.

Sorry misread here /o/

he said he didn't understand what i was trying to say with that image^

Another thing, why would anyone be mad over a Alpha, extra few days of beta time, and some dlc? I'll have fun playing this game on my Xbox like I've played all previous Bungie games on.

I'll be sure to enjoy Sunset Overdrive only on Xbox also :P

Hope it's as good as Fuse :P

Fuse was amazing /s

I'm certain it'll be a lot better than most of Insomniacs recent games.

What track record? Halo 4? That was my point, we know Bungie had a great track record, but so far 343i has only developed a single game on their own. How is it fair to say they've lost something when they've only been able to release one project? The other studios have released games previously, so we could already tell if they had a history of quality or not. 343i  is a new studio, so we can't just assume what we got with Halo 4 is the height of their talents.

What are you even saying? Why should we make excuses for 343 because they have released only one game? It doesn't change the fact that bungie is a bigger studio than them and and by far more reputable studio even if its just now. Bungie actually created the IP they are working on now. They built a game on top everything bungie had done.

I don't know about you, but no matter how good ready at dawn is with the order, they still can't hold a candle to naughty dog even if they made a great PSP game. give them 10yrs and a couple of games under their belt then we can talk. But as it stands, if you are substituting a studio as reknowned as bungie for a studio that has one major title under its belt (which also happens to be a title that they didn't have to write source code for) then you have lost something. its not like bungie has packed up shop and retired. they are still making games, and could have been making those games for you. Just imagine if destiny was an XB1 exclusive.

The game looks fun. I just want another Spyro game though (not by Activision) :/

Edit: On Topic: I don't see why MS would be mad, they've done these types of deals with Activision as well. Destiny is still coming to Xbox after all.

Why are people who don't have the slightest clue about the halo community showing population stats and stating how 343 are much worse than Bungie?

Halo: Reach was the game that took the franchise down the wrong path, 343 just foolishly continued on that path. In fact they saved Reach's multiplayer from the unbalanced mess Bungie left it in and comparing vanilla reach to halo 4, reach is by far the worse multiplayer game.

I can understand why bungie are aligning with ps4 though, xbox fans will no doubt know there quality already and buy the game regardless. I don't understand why people are getting so upset over this, its timed beta exclusiveness, not a exclusive game just for ps4 with a middle finger to the xbox. There is no need to be upset over this or insomniac making an exclusive for the xbox as these are new IPs...bayonetta is different though. Go crazy over that.

saying him is bad would be very bad PR, sure him is not :p what PR would say stupid thing like this anyway ^^

I don't get why they would be mad. Neither company owed either other company anything.

Is it Bungie signing all these deals with Sony though? I'd have thought the publisher made those decisions? (Like didn't EA do the exclusivity deals with MS for Titanfall?) which would actually have taken such choices out of Bungie's hands anyway.

I know the fanboys love a big betrayal story. But meh... as long as 343 deliver the goods everybody's happy.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Why be mad? Just let them keep doing great games. I'm sure MS will survive :).

By hype! Halo 3 was awesome so people tought Halo 4 would be too.

I'm not really sure what this has to do with his statement, but I guess you just wanted to take another jab at Halo.

It's simple:

You clearly haven´t played Halo 4.

But MCC will be a good oportunity to see if Halo 4 Mulplay is that terrible facing Halo 3.

If my opinion is the only one that matter, I would say that Halo 3 MP is unplayable without sprint and armor abilities.

PS: I will jump into some Halo 4 games tonight just to check how difficult it would be to find a match. May be is as difficult as Titanfall...

True. Also I think Sony wants people to believe they are best friends with Bungie, but its probably Activision they deal with.

Supposedly Bungie helped with the DS4 design, along with GG. I doubt it was Activision in Bungie's place doing that.

Do you have a link for that or...?

This article makes it sound like Bungie acted more like consultants on how to make the DS4 controller better for FPS. And by the sounds of most PS4 owners it sounds like they helped make a better controller overall.

The article mentions also how Bungie knew they would have some resistance from Playstation loyalist that detest anything Xbox. How do you  win them over? Make your next independent Multiplat game available to the rival, with exclusive DLC, and first crack at testing. It was a brilliant move to warm Sony fans to Bungie, while also rubbing it in MS fans faces.

I think the White PS4 was always on Sony's radar, but decided to bundle it with Destiny, thus making it even more attractive.

Im glad for Bungie to be doing well, hopefully they can keep it up. They are a great studio that just wanted to reach out to more gamers. Can't blame them for that.
