| RavenXtra said: What track record? Halo 4? That was my point, we know Bungie had a great track record, but so far 343i has only developed a single game on their own. How is it fair to say they've lost something when they've only been able to release one project? The other studios have released games previously, so we could already tell if they had a history of quality or not. 343i is a new studio, so we can't just assume what we got with Halo 4 is the height of their talents. |
What are you even saying? Why should we make excuses for 343 because they have released only one game? It doesn't change the fact that bungie is a bigger studio than them and and by far more reputable studio even if its just now. Bungie actually created the IP they are working on now. They built a game on top everything bungie had done.
I don't know about you, but no matter how good ready at dawn is with the order, they still can't hold a candle to naughty dog even if they made a great PSP game. give them 10yrs and a couple of games under their belt then we can talk. But as it stands, if you are substituting a studio as reknowned as bungie for a studio that has one major title under its belt (which also happens to be a title that they didn't have to write source code for) then you have lost something. its not like bungie has packed up shop and retired. they are still making games, and could have been making those games for you. Just imagine if destiny was an XB1 exclusive.
