If we don't count systems having BC, then I'd have to say the DS. Overall though, easily 3DS :)

As much as I loved the Game Boy, it was mainly my Pokemon machine. GBA was great too, but the DS just edges it out by a tiny bit for me.

GBA for Megaman Battle Network 1-6 (especially 3 and 6)

I like you:)

*Megaman brofist* ;)

GBA but the 3DS is on the best way to top that!

If you're interested in Nintendo content and understand german, maybe you want to take a look at my youtube channel! :)

GBA SP because that's the last handheld we purchased new (although I later got a DS and games off Craigslist to play around with for a bit).

Each generation Nintendo finds ways to keep things fresh and interesting with their handhelds so I have little doubt that 3DS will be the best yet. Nintendo simply kills it in the handheld game

In my opinion:
3DS>DS>GBA>GameBoy

GBA SP, 3DS slowly coming close to dethroning it though.
all it needs is GBA/SNES VC!

The GBA. There was something special about that handheld.

The DS by far with it's long list of must play games. I see the poll and can't understand why the 3DS is by far ahead of the other choices when it's library is nowhere near what the original DS is at this time.

1. DS
2. GBA
3. 3DS
4. Gameboy/GBC

The 3DS is slowly making it's way up my list but i doubt it will ever pass the original DS

As long as nintendo continued to offer Backward Compatibility, it's obvious that the last handheld to date is yet the best, because in addition to previous libraries, it's offering new and unique titles.

But I think Nintendo is going to abandon the Dual Screen for their next one, so no more BC I guess.

And I still think GBA is the best one if we do abstraction of the evolution of the technical specs, because at that time it was a revolution, the 3DS was kind of a deception for me, Nintendo should've offered a more creative way to play not just copying the previous successful machine.

3DS. All it needs is SNES VC, and it will officially be, in my books, the best Nintendo handheld.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
