Forums - Nintendo - I got a feeling: Smash Bros U in 2015, Zelda U in 2016

Agree with the OP. Toad's Treasure Quest will probably be our holiday title for this year.

Smash was already playable, just needs testing and polish. Nintendo will not let it miss the holidays.

I can't say on Zelda. It's going to be big, but how long they've worked on it so far is the question.

My question is, with how generous Nintendo has been lately, how will they sweeten their holiday deals? Free amiibo with every bundle? Bundle Smash and MK8 together? Free download codes? I'm really interested. Nintendo is currently the best system for deals. For about 300 bucks you can get a 32 gig deluxe, 4 solid games, nintendo land, and a Virtual Console title.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are.

Nope, SSB. is 100% coming this year, that is the main title for holiday season.
Nintendo was first saying its coming in winter 2014 (SSB Direct), and at E3 we got holiday season date.

They announced few times last year that they wanted to show Zelda U (first time was E3 last year), from E3 last year to Holiday season 2015. we have about 2.5 years.

smash u 2014
zelda u 2015

simple as that

Nintendo will likely (in my opinion already has) divert a lot of resources to get smash bros done by the holiday

Zelda will release in 2018, new major Mario in 2019, and a brand new Nintendo console in 2024

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

One of the only reasons I can argue it won't be is that aside from the very playable demo and that the 3DS title already has a release date, is that Mario Kart 8, very much an HD Wii U title, was scheduled to be released at Spring 2014 and they delivered it exactly as advertised on May 30th, 2014.

Current Consoles: Gaming PC, Wii U, 3DS

Quite possibly with Zelda; but I don't see Smash Bros. being delayed past this year. They need it too badly for that.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.
