I think EA gets too bad of a rep. Activision is way worse. At least games like Battlefield have much higher budgets than COD. Yukes (Creators of WWE/Smackdown series) have glitches far worse than this. People just think it's cool to hate EA. They're not great, but far from the worst.

You are one reason why EA will never change, because people like you still buy their crappy games all over again and thatt's the reason EA does not chnage anything because they know that people like still buy their broken games anyway!!! Are you working for EA???

If EA publishes a game I want to play then I'll buy it.

Boycotting a company the size of EA will result in 2 things: a). they wont give a fuck that they lost 1 sale, or even 100. b). you will miss out on plenty of quality games.

All games have glitches, even our all time favorites. There is no bug free game. Lets take as an example one of the games that is considered by many the best one ever made:

right on!

there is a massive gap between bug free and broken.   all games have at least some bugs and sometimes finding a bug can be a ton of fun too!  especially when you consider that the video in the OP starts with a disclaimer that bugs are very rare this whole thread's angle seems stupid.

..but i'm glad he posted it anyways.  that video was hilarious.

FIFA 15 for me

EA is releasing so many games and they are for sure not all full of glitches and almost unplayable so that I will still "support" good games even if other EA games are bad.

It would also not stop me to buy a game from a developers who had 50 games in a row with a Meta below 30 if their next game is a great game. I just won't buy their fucked up games lol.

Why ignore a game you like because of the publisher? As long as i like it, i buy it. Why would you miss out because of some "beef" with a publisher. you're just a single console/pc peasant =D

See no reason to base my buying decision on the publisher, instead I base my decision on who the developer is of the game more than anything else.

if i want them, i will buy them, simple as that.

How widespread are these glitches exactly? Seems to me like they'd be pretty rare or else I would have heard something about them before now. This is probably a video from one of those Youtubers who specifically try to break games for comedic effect on their Youtube videos, Ben Buja for instance.

The first thing that appear in the video is a message from the uploader saying these bugs are rare and he liked the game a lot. It's probably like WWE 2K where things like that can happen sometimes, but it's pretty rare. It's common in sports games with body physics simulations.

As the OP, I don't base my opinion in the publisher. I don't buy BF because I have BF3 and it's a buggy mess. NFS is a EA game that I love, Dead Space is cool and so on. If people would avoid publishers that do buggy games, it would be better to not buy anything that has Bethesda on it since Skyrim was a mess and games like Rage and Wolfenstein: The New Order have issues too.
